    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: Soho Cinders – Sedos Production at Bridewell Theatre, London

I'm not sure why this hasn't passed QAP. There's nothing glaringly wrong with it. Here are some possibilities:

Maybe they think it's overly promotional?

It's not 'evergreen', i.e. it won't be relevant after the production ends.

The images state 'All rights reserved', but you need to mention you have republished them with permission.

It's a little on the short side.

That's about all I can think of. Try making some changes, like converting the Amazon capsule into a text link instead, and see what happens.

Thank you so much. I’ll make it clear that the images are published with permission.

I’ll try to find a way to make it longer but I don’t want to make it look like I’m padding it out. How much longer do you think it should be?

Around about 1,000 words, but don't stress over it. How about some more detail about the cast?

I honestly think I am nitpicking in the comment earlier, just trying to see what the problem is. I think it's an interesting article, and, personally don't think it is 'spammy promotional' at all.

Try getting rid of that Amazon capsule and see if that's all it is.

I wonder if it's considered too "local" for a U.S.-based platform that has a global audience. That's all I can think of to add to Bev's points.

The Amazon capsule might be a problem. The capsule says that the product is a live concert recording, but you haven't said much about the music in the article.

You could try adding a description to the Amazon capsule or adding information about the music close to the capsule if you don't want to delete it. I think that including a description of the music without altering the flow of the article might be helpful.

I have a theater background and find this article well written. I agree with Bev and Alicia points of view. You can make this evergreen by writing more about the theater and backstory of the current play. What is the difference between amateur and professional plays?

The Q & A might be a problem as well. I've used it before and had a problem with the Quality Assessment Process. Turn the Q & A into a standard article with more backstory about the director. The listing of the next plays is good. Can you add who is directing or more about the storyline?
