Once the capsule is deleted by accident, is there any way to recover it. Yes. I am kicking myself.

Pleased to hear that you retrieved it. That's a useful tip for us all to know. I now try to save capsules part way through after having a few occasions when the site has played up and I have lost the contents of the text capsule I have been writing in. I rely on the information being fresh in my mind to rewrite it, but this gives another option.

Yes. It's a great solution. I've been writing a lot recently. I just "spaced" and deleted the wrong capsule. All is fine, now.

Glad you recovered your work.  Have you considered writing your hub before formatting it on the site?  I write all of my hubs in Word and then go to HP to format and publish my hubs.  If I lose a capsule, I just redo it using my Word document.

OldRoses, I do that with new articles. I am doing rewrites and edits, so it is a bit different. This article was so old I couldn't find the original in Word.

I've been doing my edits in Word also.  I am paranoid about losing my work.

It does get your heart racing. big_smile I am inclined now to do everything in Word.

I'm thinking about doing that myself, Old Roses. I usually don't make the mistake Kenna did, but if I decide to ever delete my account, I'll already have a copy of my works. I'm more apt to polish my work, too, if I write the article first.

It's good to have a back of system in place. I am appreciative that paradigmsearch was so quick to reply and help me.
