    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: Sri Lanka tourism and travel (must be signed in to view)

You need to format the title - also could you make the title more interesting?Format it as a question? Hook the reader in? Also check your usage of words and grammar. First line - 'a small teardrop-shaped small island' - you used small twice. I didn't read on after that.  Do you use an online grammar tool?

I did read your article because I am interested in the subject. The writing is okay but it is too general to be helpful.
Instead of that general title, which no one will ever open, you could concentrate on the things you can do in Sri Lanka. If I want to see wildlife, how do I go about it? (Are there really only 90 snakes and 452 birds on the whole island? I think you need to talk about species.)
The train section is too short but at least you mention what is the best about the trains. Why not do the same with beaches and wildlife?
Fix that first glaring mistake that CMHypno pointed out. If someone does open your article, and the first line is a mistake, they are likely to bounce out of there before even reading any further.
If this were my article I would stop trying to repair it and work on something more useful. Why not write about "The Best Train Journeys for Tourists in Sri Lanka"? How do I catch a train, where, are there things I need to know, etc? Add some original photos from Kandy to Ella.
You can do the same thing for any of those 6 subjects that you just skim over in this article.

You are definitely welcome. Do not give up. It takes a while, but if you persist with this you can eventually make a decent income.
(I think I eventually deleted my first 50 articles here, but at this point I am getting close to about 18 million.)

    Dear Dr Mark,
Thanks again for your encouragement. I really found nice articles on hubpages and wanted write like that. I'm a national tour guide in Sri Lanka and busy so I don't expect any income but develop good writing skills. I'm following your hubs.
