    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: No such thing as Free Will

Hi. Separating your article into different text capsules (each with their own subtitle) should be helpful. Proofreading to catch a few errors would be useful as well.

I think it’s very important that you include authoritative references for your claims. You have shared facts about the biology of humans. Supporting your claims with biological references would add credence to your article.

Thanks. Yes, I'll proof read it again. I'm a philosopher of science, so I have looked into it all in detail. If people think I'm wrong then they should do research and prove me wrong. I'd be more than fine with that.

But most of what I say is self evident if you think about it deeply. If people don't know how the brain works they should look up what I say and decide for themselves.

This is a theory based on facts that few others seem to know. Just to let you know, Robert Sapolsky does agree with me. lol... But why put that in my theory?

And this is not a peer reveiw, so why add other references? There would be dozens. lol...

Also, adding different text capsules is a new thing. I don't really like it and I hate when they give you a paragraph and then add a picture below, then another paragraph, then a picture. I want to read what I'm reading, not get distracted. lol... But I guess I'm just too old.

Anyway, thanks for your comment and suggestions.

I suggest that you use a relevant article by Robert Sapolsky as a reference as well as other ones by other biologists. Readers deserve to know that there is scientific support for your ideas.

Well, all they have to do is some research.

You have some grammar, misspelled words and punctuation issues. It's also a blog, not an article. What AliciaC suggests may turn it into an article. Check https://hubpages.com/help-wizard/ for more information on HP standards.

It seems rather a stream of consciousness.  Also, you are just stating your position. It seems to me that an article needs to do something for an audience.  Like showing the proof for the position or explaining why it is superior.  Determinism is an old old old thing. But it would be nice to have articles for the general public that suggest why they should care about it, let alone believe it.

      Thanks for your comment. wink

Well again, it's obvious everything is determined. Nothing happens without a reason. But if you study chaos theory it becomes highly unlikely things are predetermined, which a lot of people think kills the free will idea completely. But again, there's not just one chain of cause and effect exiting from the BB. There are literally quadrillions of them. So they interact and change each other and create new ones. So everything is determined, but now, not predetermined in all likelihood.

And again, What I say about will is obvious. But too few people look into how the mind works. If you disagree, fine. Look up the aspects I mentioned, think about it and decide for yourself if I'm right or wrong, But it takes research.
