My current hub score is above 75 nd i have not been flagged for anything overly=promotional.  however, all my article links and everything in my profile has been nofollowed.  i just checked a few other hubbers and i am the only one i have noticed where my links are nofollowed.
does anybody know why or how i can get this changed??
    thank you.

its possible with all the amount of hubs on grilling that you might have linked more than a few to promote your repair site.. if a number of hubs even with only one link to the site in each, to the same promoted site throughout the whole of your hubs may tip off the site to add no follow.. go back and look and make sure only the repair hubs promote that repair site and even then try only a couple of them. if you have 5 repair hubs lets say with only one link in each hub to that site, you're still getting 5 to the same  personal site so it may trip the nofollow status... not sure if thats right but hope that helps !

You are pretty borderline, it may have temporarily dipped below the 75 mark, which could cause issues.

I was thinking that also.. that you may be teetering on the 75 and dipping below, but just so you know.... you have 2 be below 75 then only your hubs under 40 become nofollow according to what i've read. in other words... any hubber below 75 will have their hubs under 40 set to nofollow so i'm not sure this applies to any of your hubs unless they upped the score on nofollowed hubs to prevent spamming..There was ans anchored post at the top of forums the other day stating they had changed the algorithm of hubscore and authorscore and that everyone would see a slight drop in scores

Mel your quickly becoming the king of under informed advice, where do you get your information from and why do you always choose to repeat stuff your not sure about?

Under 75 - hub author score - all hubs are nofollow

    theres no if's and's or's , plusses or conditionals

if your trying to help, either say answers you know are true or take a moment to check that they are true..the FAQ's are only a click away

You ever been out walking on the side of the road and someone pulls over and asks for directions, you tell them directions even though you absolutely have no idea what they are talking about?.. I bet you have, stop being that guy ...they are the worst

I love your style Sunforged!  What I cant understand is how did he know that he had no follow on his hubs?  Is there a way of finding out?

Relax, there. Only stated what I had read elsewhere. my first post clearly states on the last line that I wasn't positive about that , that I had read elsewhere. If I find the post ill post so you can see. Relax, Chill out !

How is that helpful? and its common for you, this is the third or fourth comment (that i have seen) where other hubbers had to come along and not only help the original petitioner but correct whatever misinformation you spread.

      Know your sources!

I agree to Sunforged, please stop misleading people. smile

Not all what you read is true, in fact most is lie.

exactly...excellent example, Mel22...you see how he quoted the original information and provided a link to the source material?

Now Darkside is well proven to be a reputable source to all things HUB...to bad you didnt read the post, aye!

      "

You were saying about that stick?

Dont take it so hard anyway...its an important skill to learn, 98% of the stuff you read about this industry is BS..you have to be very careful about what sources you trust.

We all make mistakes but bad directions with the best of intentions still lead the follower to unwanted places

http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/4647#post39767... this is where the info was from.. if it was misconstrued as meaning anyone with 75 gets hubs below 40 added nofollow then reposted over 2 years on other posts to get misconstrued and someone relays what they say they READ (not stating as fact) then there's no need to call out the person. In most of my posts I say take for what its worth, or not sure but read this...You seem to be kind of a whiny ranter in every post I see from you. looking to call ppl out for giving advice... If they wanted proof positive advice they'd go to help tab and contact staff directly.. I think everyone knows these posts are for  quick informal advice... some help ,some don't no need to call out ppl as King of misinformation over ONE post. Like I said pull the stick out and stop calling out every post someone makes thats not exactly agreeable.  Don't act as if every post I make has no relevance.

P.S. Yes . the McFact is the lady  held the coffee between her legs knowing it was scalding hot from the 'reminder' and feeling through sweatpants.. i Hardly doubt they were  stopped as they say.. probably in a moving vehicle and spilled on a turn and advised by a crooked lawyer not to mention they were in gear. Frivolous! If thats the misinformation your talking about from the post  DAYS ago then I suggest adding the part that she was found 20 percent at fault in your MCFact rants. Thats willfully left out misinformation.

Are you mad my pic from adsense made number one on google or something? I even thanked you on the post for the informnation on making that pic  yesterday and now you call me out as 'King of misinformation'. Stop being a queen about it!

I assure you if i had the time..I could highlight a dozen of your posts that are patently wrong. Perhaps you should check out your past responses and the responses illicited by them to see just how helpful you actually have been (assuming this is your goal)

i accept that you wont accept you are wrong.

the mcdonalds convo is long forgotten and you still miss the point apparently ...160-180 fahrenheit is dangerous and scalding...luckily the courts didnt.

But you bring up a good example..the purpose of the mcfacts example was to show a situation where the rumor and conjecture that is accepted as fact in the popular mind is patently false.(and the truth can be easily "googled")

Take nothing from this thread if you like.

But rather than get angry about referring to me as "whiny'"ranty" and a "queen"

ill just repeat what i said earlier

You ever been out walking on the side of the road and someone pulls over and asks for directions, you tell them directions even though you absolutely have no idea what they are talking about?.. I bet you have, stop being that guy ...they are the worst

I used to love doing that when I was a taxi driver! You wouldn't believe the number of people who actually flagged me down on the street, got me to stop, then asked directions!
I used to smile and give them the wrong ones, before driving off again.

  10. mel22 profile image60

...not sure if thats right but hope that helps !.... how is this stating Fact...How is that "misleading"? I clearly let him know this was just a thought! Shove Off!

as I said most of my posts I try to say , thats its opinion or take for what its worth but if I fail to a few times is no reason to call out in that way.. You could've easily said you disagree and posted the link by Paul to show but no, you call out in a way to make yourself look like only you should be in the help forums.. as i said help is not the all inclusive last word and i've seen many pple give advice where they gave the advice and told to take for what its worth. Secondly, if you're watching my every post so closely that you know I post such  misinformation all over the forum then your following too close.. Last I knew you were not a follower and I don't want any. Obviously I know not all my posts are helpful and I certainly don't go calling out others as king of under informed info when I see someone else made an error on a post to make myself look better. I refuse to stop TRYING to help because its not agreeable with you. You are not a Moderator so don't pretend to be. I would gladly go to the other forums and GOOF OFF in hubbers hangout but usually get attacked  there too, so I chosse to go to help forums to stay away from all that , but I see they even attack  in droves here in Help forums too.

Ps -I've never given driving directions even though I have no clue, ever!If I don't know i just shrug my shoulders. Here in Help I give my humble opinion, thats all. and add.... not sure if thats right... bcuz others will attack if you dont add that.. Thats why I did to my first post... never was said as FACT, ever! second post was in conjuction with "what I had read" which I shouldn't have to keep conveying to the origibal poster. They're wise enough to take for what its worth when I say "read somewhere" - you won't get called out if you don't call out in such a rude way first.. there was a better way to do that!

Mel, listen to what expert Hubbers are telling you.  You're still not making it sufficiently clear that you're not sure of your facts.

You could avoid attacks by STARTING your post with words like "I'm fairly new myself but I think I read somewhere that...",which would make your position really clear upfront.

I've noticed you give some good advice recently, just be sure to qualify anything you're not 100% positive about.

there is nothing more i can say that you have not said better.

I disagree that you should "goof off" in a help forum

  13. mel22 profile image60
    mel22posted 15 years ago

Goof Off in hubbers Hangout not HELP,  so instead go to Help where the ppl are more serious and ppl wont be faggy goof offs. Thats was my point!   Anyway  i'm done with this post! Say what you will I care not at this point !

Marissa , I think you guys are just being too (persnicketty)nitpicking,  about every little word.... EXPERT, humble yourself with that word expert. People can make mistakes but to call out as spreading misinformation wherever I go is going overboard especially when my first post said"... not sure if thats right but hope that helps..." How clear do I have to make it.  Every time I make an error you guys are all over it but yet here in this post you clearly made an error and I surely had to let you know after you said my mistake from earlier that week was rubbish , however I joked ...http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/29637#post617293

Clearly , in this example, you did not do the same explanation as you are asking me to give to everyone... maybe you need to take your own advice...You guys calling yourselves Experts is Gaudy! Thers a better way to correct the person than to call them Rubbish or King of Misinformation! Like without being Rude or you'll get rudeness back. Anyway I think we already posted back and were over it by the time we posted about the Preview tool! Tired of this thread and stating to get tired of Hubpages altogether at this point. I stayed out of Hubbers Hangout just for that reason. Everyone thinks they're Professional writers on this retarded site!Experts my arse!
I've noticed everytime I get high on the most active list of this forum ppl start nitpicking...I must've moved higher than someone to get such negativity . I'll go to Extreme Hub Makeover so you guys can have your 'precious' most active list. I could tell there was animosity in the post made yesterday about my adsense pic on google...Thats y I thanked. I didnt even know it got that high.. i never check that BS. I'll take it down now that I know so you can have your 'number one spot back .I made that pic as a HELP to the hubber asking, it was never intended to replace your outdated one on googles stats or wherever you get those stupid A$$ numbers. I even thanked him for showing me, but damn the animosity got him and I could tell !

I don't mind being corrected but DAMN its the way you guys do it! With absolute rudeness!
