I thought that they phased out Bootcamp years ago.  You can learn a lot about writing for HubPages in the Learning Center.  Just click on "Help" in the upper right corner.

Thank you, luckily I use APA format in school regularly.  Still not too sure of best words to use for searches but will keep researching.

I believe this is a different boot camp for new members, OldRoses.

It appears to be linked to achieving five featured hubs.

        See here: https://hubpageshelp.com/standards/Lear … tured-Hubs

        What Is HubPages Boot Camp?
New users on HubPages go through a program we refer to as Boot Camp to help them learn more about our quality guidelines and standards. While in Boot Camp, new articles that do not pass the Quality Assessment Process and become Featured will be unpublished. Authors must publish 5 Featured articles to make it out of Boot Camp.

Hubbers who pass Boot Camp will earn a Featured Article Accolade (commemorating the hard work of writing excellent content). Articles published by Boot Camp grads that do not pass the QAP will remain published (and simply not be Featured)— even if their total number of Featured articles drops below five.

Thanks! I'll use all the advice and help I can get.  For now, doing just my original recipes for practice but from there will move on to subjects that might help others more in the mental health arena as that's what I go to school for.  Throw any advice at me!
    Susanna
