How exactly does one get into the HubPages Bootcamp? Thank you.
My understanding is that a new hubber is in boot camp until you have 5 featured hubs.
Good luck and welcome. Your first hub looks great. Happy hubbing!
Welcome to HubPages, Julie. A new hubber is automatically in Boot Camp when signing up. Best wishes to you.

19. What Is Boot Camp?
Boot Camp is a program that all new Hubbers must go through in order to learn about our quality standards. To graduate from Boot Camp, one must publish at least five Featured Hubs. Until Hubbers graduate from Boot Camp, Hubs that they published that do not pass the Quality Assessment Process will become unpublished. Boot Camp grads will earn a Featured Hub Accolade and all of their future Hubs that don't pass the QAP will remain published (and simply not be Featured).

Your arrival has eclipsed a new feature that we were discussing in earnest when the merger was announced.HubberPro is a new feature. In a nutshell, HP has hired 7 excellent editors to help bring our hubs up to snuff. They will be doing fact checking, editorial corrections, updating images...

I'm sure it's one of the smaller of the achievements that I will eventually manage, but it is a start. Anyone else reach a new goal lately? Love those success stories!
