I’ve been advised by Adsense that ads can’t be placed on Owlcation due to non sensical content, but the articles have been published for months and they have only just advised me of an issue.  One of the articles was getting spam in the comments, but I did not approve the comments so they should not be visible.  Would Adsense be able to pick up on these although not visible?

I get rid of them anyway - go here:

      https://hubpages.com/my/hubs/comments

Use the drop-down filter to show the spam comments and zap every one of them.

Could you copy in the exact paragraph of the message from Adsense?

Thanks for your reply.  Here’s the message.

I’ve deleted the spam comments completely in case that’s causing a problem.

There's nothing wrong with your articles - obviously, or they wouldn't be on Owlcation. So it might be that their crawlers can pick up the spam messages. Try requesting a review again and see what happens.

Or, first, contact team@hubpages.com, with the screenshot, and ask them if HP advertising is the problem.

You can also just ignore this. It is going to be a non-issue next week since Google will no longer be placing ads on any of the Hubpages sites.

I wasn’t aware of that.  What is going to happen with the earnings program?
