Is it possible to make $300 a month from hubpages?
I have been hubbing for 2 years now and earn about 50-70 dollars a month from adsense but was wondering how to and whether it is indeed possible to earn 300-400 dollars a months.
Please share you own experiences if you life.
I'm a new hubber so I don't have personal experience - however, I like to be inspired by the success stories at http://www.hubpages.com/success
It takes consistency and hard work, but I think those stories show that it is possible to make $300 or more from writing on HubPages.
If you have 100 hubs, AND know your keywords, etc.
Hey, I think $70 a month is really good.
I don't want to brag, but I'm up to $3.21. All time. Pretty sweet right?
HI:
I have been writing for Hubpages for several months now, and I know for a fact that it is possible to make $300 or more from Hubpages a month. It takes perseverance but it is possible.
If you're committed, then you can try doing the following to increase your earnings:
1. Write more hubs, and share them with your readers. write at least 2 hubs a day, or more if you can!
2. Make more friends. Add and follow more readers so that you are constantly adding traffic to your hubs
3. Learn all about Marketing. Go to HUbpages forums, answer questions, ask questions, post links to your hubs, and so on..
The rest of the work is simply keeping up with comments, other hubs and everything. For more information, read some of my work, its helped other HUbbers, hope it helps you too!
You have inspired me to continue to work for my goals and write my way to freedom. Thank you
of course it is possible if you spend time and effort and create as many useful and focussed hubs and internet property
Yes! Just take it one day at a time and keep writing - diversify your topics if necessary.
I am new to hubpages and am realizing by reading all of the comments that I need to get writing! I am up to...hold your breath... $0.53 so far... I am hopeful that I can get to the point where I am making $300 a month.
One can make more wealth in their head by thinking less about what's in their pocket book or purse....
cause in doing so....
it opens up more space in ones mind for putting knowledge there...
the only thing everyone will take....
on the journey after they leave Mother Earth....
If you are hubbing because you enjoy writing then that's great and it's a nice little bonus that you can earn a few dollars on the side. You do however have to be good at picking keywords and also be prepared to do back links if you really want to get your hubs high up in the search engines. That does involve a fair bit of work even when you know what you are doing.
Hubpages make it easy to produce good looking pages and you share that Adsense revenue with them which I think is a fair deal.
There are however many easier ways in my opinion of making $300 a month online with nowhere near as much work but you do need certain other skills.
Writing for others is probably the easiest way and with two hours a night you can easily make $20. Do that 5 nights a week and you have $100. In a month you have $400. Here's the difference though......
In a year you could earn $5,000 just by repeating this. You get paid ONCE!!!
If you did one hub an evening you could have 2,500 and get paid forever..
I am not a prolific writer and I am anything but disciplined so this wouldn't work for me. I am after a steady income by doing something that keeps on paying you once you have done the work. Hubpages is one way of doing that but it needs good keyword selection, the daily discipline to write and then some back links for SEO promotion.
thank you Mr. EndaMac. Your words about earning forever was very motivating
I think that this is possible if you have great hubs a long with great activity in this community. You know after a period of time you may feel that this community has a lot of friends who you love.
Apparently so, but I am less concerned with making that much than just having the opportunity to write what I want and put it out there, and hopefully inform on a number of topics that interest me. What money I make along the way is money I didn't have when I was writing and keeping it in a notebook, and no one got to see it. I think the hubs that specifically give instructions on increasing your revenue would be worth studying carefully. Clearly there are some hubbers that know more than you or I about making money.
David
As I have been seeing my revenue grow every month more and more from just my meager 22 hubs, I do believe it is quite possible to earn $300 plus per month on hubpages. I totally understand how those hubbers with hundreds of articles and an army of followers can make their mortgage payment every month just from hubpages. Hopefully, if I keep myself focused and write quality "evergreen" articles I'll be there someday too.
I think it possible to make that much. This month I am all the way up to $1.90! I might make $2.00 before the end of the month! But seriously, if you are dedicated to writing and follow all of the suggestions given so far, you probably could make much more than I am.
Yes, there are already ladies at the top that make well over $1000 but when you have 1600+ hubs and your at the top of the list it doesn't seem so impossible.
I started writing for Hubpages in January of 2009.
After working for Hubpages for four months, I begin earning about $200 a month and had over 1000 fans, 1/2 million readers and close to 2000 hubs.
However, in May of 2011, my hubs were unpublished and I had to open up another account without any explanation from the Hubpage staff.
An online search revealed that Hubpages was the loser when Google configured its way of revenue sharing with Google Adsense. Many hubpage writers left to write for other sites.
Hubpage earnings has yet to reach that plateau of $200 a month on my account and is now comparable to pennies earned from Triond.com and Yahoo Contributor Network that acquired Associated Content with the new website that is now Yahoo Voices.
Triond at the time that I wrote for them had not been connected to Google Adsense which shows the novelty of the writing site. Now with the penny earnings received one wonders if Hubpages is connected to Google Adsense like prior to May of 2011.
K Kiss you should be congratulated for earning between 40-70 dollars a month from Google Adsense.
The affiliates Amazon and eBay were not earning capsules for me but I am willing to start over because I know that I am not the only one effected by the vast change in the payment structure of Hubpages.
It is difficult to get the same passion for writing when I have to check Google search engine to publish unpublished articles on other writing sites.
Fortunately, most of the articles had been saved on Microsoft word. But having so many fans and the comments shared is difficult to get over.
My writing niche was gender and relationships so I saw a lot of heartbreak but gave useful and helpful relationship advice to troubled couples.
Addendum: Also at the time that I was receiving the $200 monthly checks, payment was by US mail instead of through PayPal.
I`ve been here for half of month and haven`t gained a single dime yet. Actually I`m not even acepted by Google
I think if you're making ANY money from writing on the net then you're doing exceptionally well so far.
I've only been here for a handful of days and made 8 cents. Which might be low but that's just the start ...
With all the articles on the net I'm thrilled to death to be making $1.00!
It brings me great joy to know that others are reading my material. I also believe that if your thankful for $1, soon it will be $2 and so on...count the small blessings and soon they will be large ones!
There are those people who keep making money month after month. Then there are many that love to write and enjoy the love of the HubPages and know little about the techniques and tips needed to make money on the HubPages. It may take a little longer but in the end I think it is possible for a dedicated person to put the time and effort in to show a wonderful profit by practicing and learning from the other writers who do it best.Only time will tell.

The chart above (made easily with Excel: check the tools menu / analysis) gives the distribution of daily earnings. Most of days daily earnings is about 0.45.As you can see, it doesn't follow the famous Normal Law in probability ... which is normal : normal law is not obligatory in the real world
