I know it's been trying times with everything that is happening, and I hope today proves fruitful!
I have only been earning pennies thus far.... how can I earn more? Do I need 100 or more featured articles?
You need to get all of your articles on niche sites. That's where you will earn the most. Letterpile doesn't earn much though.
You might want to reconsider your article titles. The best way to get traffic, and therefore more earnings, is to write titles that are what people type into Google search. This is how you get your articles in the search pages in Google. Use Google auto suggest to get some titles.
Congratulations to all of you that have made it. One day I will get there (I hope) or maybe try out Medium!
You will get there. It takes hard work. I don't know if Medium is all that great.
OMG! I read Euro's post and thought he was joking about finding a gypsy woman with a crystal ball to help his hubs.
I really need to get with the times!
No pay out this month! For years I have hit pay out every month, but since Christmas it is every other month. Traffic has improved over the last month, but earnings are down. It is what it is. All I can do is write a few more hubs and hope for better times
CM,
It's crazy times, right now. I am contemplating writing a couple of new articles as well. You have an excellent topic for the Internet. I am sure you see payouts every month soon.
Hopefully, things pick up again after things get back to normal. Writing new articles is a good idea.
Brandon,
Yes. Writing new articles creates a future!
Definitely, all the extra free time encourages more writing. Earnings have been down lately, but they seem slightly better over the past few days (though that could just be the normal end-of-month jump).
There's a couple of things that you can do to improve your traffic. The most important is to get all of your articles on niche sites. You can submit one article every two weeks. The other thing you can do is to update all of your articles so that they have an edited date of 2020. Google gives preference to articles that are written or edited in the current year.
OldRose,
This is what I do, and it's helpful. Also, when I write a new article, the impressions go up one for one.
congrats to all hubbers who are being paid!
unfortunately, i have not reached payout yet since i had been inactive for 2 years.
however, i am pleased to say that i am almost there, usd48 right now, after 2 years working a full time job.
i am glad that my past hubs are still earning money.

I am writing articles for this website since past 3 months. At present, I have 38 featured and published hubs. I have joined for Amazon and google Adsense program. Past two months I earned like very less amount, less than 1/2 dollar. If I continue writing and publishing at the rate of one article...

He's a member since 7 years, has published 55 articles which have been read over 1,000,000 times and he makes over $...

I know, it's going down and down for everyone. We have good writers, good editors, and the game plan is similuar but different, to keep up with the internet. But this month was very disappointing. I've been writing for HubPages for 13 years. Amounts should hold steady or go up. Is our...

I have heard the saying :Fake it till you make it; but today I read an interesting thread sparked by howtoguru. I have searched but can't seem to pick up a link to his hubs. let me backtrack.I read a hub with a poll; and unless it is ancient,66% of those who voted said that they earn $10 or less on...

Okay, I know I rant about earnings regularly but seriously something is wrong here. Just over the last four days - Wed views were down to a little under 900, earnings $1.41. Thursday my views were down to a little over 800, earnings $1.40. Friday views bottomed out to a little over 500,...
