Reviewed one of my articles that had been edited by staff and obviously some very exceptional and professional work was put into editing the article and I was immediately appreciative. Thank you so much for the work you do in editing our articles!
yes, i am thankful for the editbot, did a great job on my hubs
Not bots, actual real live humans. They might not appreciated being called bots.
The editbot does exist, doesn't it? Auto-correction of spellings, hyphenations, and stuff like that. It was introduced a few years ago.
Not sure, but both the basic edit and Hubpro edits are humans, I'm pretty sure.
Those are definitely humans. Just checked one of my older hubs and it's got all three. Whether the bot is still a thing, I'm not sure.
Yes. They do a very good job at editing. English is my third language after Kikuyu and Swahili, so getting my articles edited once in a while helps a lot.
Thanks, Nate! I will pass along your message. Hope you are safe and well!
Yes! I think of myself as a pretty good editor, but I have my own peculiar faults. I use way too many commas and, though I have improved, I have never been a spelling bee champion.
I was lucky enough to do freelance work for a newspaper with an editor who taught me a lot. I still can use some help and the HP editors have been great.
You can’t be your own doctor even you have a degree. You shouldn’t be your own lawyer even if you have passed the bar.
I have had several edits recently too and was extremely impressed by the changes. A big thank you from me for the time and effort they put in!
I've had a few edits lately and have also been happy with the results. I do have a new article that hasn't been reviewed yet. I'm hoping they will give it a look soon, although, I think it's pretty good as is. But, I always welcome the additional help.
I've always been impressed by the staff's work on our articles. Haley worked on one of my articles back in November. Her edits were phenomenal. That one article (alone) is now getting 500 to 600 views a day (steady). So they definitely know what they are doing
Strange feeling for a moment. Like a ghost passed through the forums.

Editing doesn't seem to happen any more. Maybe it's been discontinued as a cost cutting exercise?

Back in summer of 2014 my traffic was looking pretty spiffy across all of my HP accounts. I was one happy camper. Then the Squid merger happened, and then a bunch of other bad things, culminating with the demise of subdomains a few months ago. By the time HP announced the niche site idea I'd lost...

There has been a note on my best performing hub for weeks saying it was going to be edited. I wrote the team multiple times begging them not to touch it. They ignored my requests and are in the process of editing it right now.How do I stop this? I do not want this hub...
