      Cute ornaments smile

There are a few problems. Unfortunately HubPages doesn't allow images with copyright info on them... even your own.

The Amazon capsules aren't connected to the topic, i.e. your ornaments. You would do better to talk about the book/s, which you own, yes? In context of it being inspirational to you. And add an in-text link to Amazon anchored by the title of the book.

Delete the 'scraper protection' text. HubPages won't let you keep it. Same with the 'Created date'.

To be honest, I think you have too many images. It's a bit 'eyeball overload'. There's enough to break this up into two hubs.

Tips: always write Christmas in full, not Xmas.

Proofread carefully; there's no apostrophe in the possessive 'it', such as "old silver one that lost it's luster". Its luster.

I'd change the title to "Hand Painted Holiday Ornaments". No one is searching for your name. Also, not everyone celebrates Christmas.

      Good luck.

Thank You for pointing out my language problem...I’ve always had this Issue..being German and structuring sentences differently from English, is another noted Issue.

I didn't say there was a language problem, Delia, just that the article would benefit from a thorough proofread to correct minor errors. We all make them smile

Oops, the reply from me didn’t copy and paste all of below...here’s the rest!

You mentioned, HubPages doesn't allow images with copyright info on them... even your own. As far as copyrights pertaining to my images, they will always have a copyrights logo...the very reason for my notice Scraper Protection is for the copyright infringements I’ve had to endure. This gives me the right to a Cease and Desist notice to the infringer.

The created date notice (Deleted) was an old Squidoo habit...
Yes, I agree about too many images (they go all the way around and displayed)
As far as the word Christmas, I intentionally use this word, for I am a Christian...Xmas is a shortened version, X is for the cross

Yes, I know what the X stands for. It's simply not a professional way to write it.

And of course it's fine to have your copyright on your images but Hubpages expressly forbids that they be used on the platform. This is what they say,

"The following types of images and conditions are not allowed on HubPages:

Images with a watermark. Watermarks detract from an article's overall appearance. If you own the photo, we recommend attributing your photo to yourself in the attribution box. All photos are legally copyrighted to the owner even if they are not watermarked or attributed."

            https://hubpageshelp.com/content/Learni … -image-use

You always have the right to issue a DMCA on stolen content because there is a place for a copyright notice at the bottom of the page. And you always have a record of the date of publication on your account.

Delia, you asked for feedback because the hub has been unfeatured. All I have tried to do is explain how you can fix it to have it featured again.

Yes, I understand and Thank You for your input! Guess I’ll have to go through my pages and weed out what I should keep here.
Squidoo was so different and easy, I have many comments on my pages, but it declined here..yes indeed, to make a quality page I have to read up on the rules here.

You need to take a look at the niche site FeltMagnet (https://feltmagnet.com/) to see how HubPages editors like to see craft articles written.  There may also be information in the Learning Center (Help button, upper right) on how to properly write and format an article about crafting.

As far as being a craft article, it is not! I‘m not a writer, this page was made many years ago from a Squidoo Hobby challenge. Painting Christmas bulbs is a hobby that I liked sharing. My style as an artist and the  procedures on how I come about this, is also noted.
This was not a “how to article”....having said that, I most likely will take down this Hubpage
        Thank You!

If it is not a craft instruction article, then it is self-promotion. Which is not allowed.
