Maven Is a Big Player

   Yesterday I accidentally went to the History Channel's website: History.com. Apart from the homepage, all other pages has this logo "A MAVEN CHANNEL"  at the bottom of the webpage. Looks like Maven has either acquired History channel, or has an agreement with them.
   
   I hear that Maven has a tendency to acquire other companies. This is how they have acquired HubPages also.
   
   Maven is a big player.

      I reckon that. Maven has not acquired History Channel, but has an agreement with History Channel parent company that Maven would operate the History.com website.

   A+E Networks’ flagship property, History.com, will join the Maven Coalition through the Say Media merger, adding an additional 18 million monthly viewers to Maven’s rapidly growing coalition of independent digital media partners. The terms of the agreement also include a three-year extension for Biography.com which is A+E’s’ second-largest site, reaching on average over 11 million unique users per month.
   
   Maven has been posting steady growth since its launch in 2016 and currently features more than 300 live channels across dozens of verticals, with multiple additions each week.
   
   The recent mergers and launch of History.com will position Maven to reach over 100 million users each month.
