Still No Update Regarding Amazon Earnings? Getting Ridiculous

So, here we are nearly 45 days after Amazon stopped reporting earnings and still no updates that indicate that the situation will soon be sorted out. How long does it take to crunch these numbers? They have 3 more weeks until it will impact our June earnings, which include the prior month's (May's) Amazon earnings.

We still haven't heard back from them. We apologize for the delay. I wish I had more news to share with you all.

It's a frustrating situation. I originally expected it to last a few days, or at worst, a few weeks.

I know this is no relief for anyone but I want to share my YouTube experience over the last few months.

There was a revenue calculation error since March. It took near two months for that to be resolved, sort of.

Every correspondence I sent in was also returned with some meaningless corporatespeak. When I logged into a live chat, the service personnel told me it's all because of COVID manpower shortage. There is no timeline for my issue and I'd be informed once someone has attended to it.

I suspect this is the same for Amazon.

Thanks for the information regarding your YouTube issues with payment. I am kind of surprised that they are blaming COVID19 for their problems. This doesn't seem like an accounting that requires people to be sitting in an office somewhere. It could be done remotely.

It is a shame that Google is such an enormous organization that they are largely unreachable when a problem arises. Even a major partner like HubPages/TheMaven doesn't hear back from them?!? Amazon needs to take a look at customer service.

Rock_nj, permit me to share in more details what happened.

After several no replies, I logged into the chat to follow up. FYI, my issue was revenue not displaying for a video that has been showing ads.

After the corporatespeak, they told me, it is a VERY complicated issue that requires VERY deep investigation. Thus because of manpower shortages, etc, etc, etc.

It was like a deliberate mocking of me.
