    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!. I'm really struggling to identify where I'm faltering, a review by anyone at this point will be of great help to me. Furthermore, featured or not i dont understand why the link to my article doesn't work if i don't pass the "quality assessment" i simply want my article to be on a public platform for others to use for college projects and casually have a read..... Its very annoying to reupload my article every day.  Should i look for a new website to serve this purpose ? As this is the first time ive ever posted anything of this sort online and HubPages has ruined the innocense of my purpose of publishing articles as im not in  any way striving to make money of this.

    Hi there,

The link won't work because the article is unpublished when rejected by QAP. They then provide a members-only link so that you can get feedback.

The main problem is that you have written a blog post. You say the article is about exploring your relationship with two well-known brands. Sounds a bit harsh, but ask yourself if anyone cares about that topic? Is it useful? Are people going be searching for that information?

You could take the personal element out of it, but somehow you still have to make it something people want to read. The comparison is between two completely unrelated brands. They have nothing in common as regards what they produce.

Just have a think about what you are trying to achieve here. If it won't fit into one of the network sites, it's not really a good topic.

    Good luck.

Edit: don't forget any image used MUST have a legal CC license, the origin should be cited and the owner referenced.

Sorry about the delayed response, so basically what I'm going to do is publish 5 articles (which i already have written) - will ditch the idea of getting published i mean if it happens it happens and basically use hub pages to collate and store my article. Do you reckon its the right platform to do so with those intentions ? Also after posting 5 articles my links wont keep disappearing right ?

      Cheers for the help

No, as DrMark said, HubPages is not a place to archive your articles. There's no point. If you want to share or collaborate, you can use DropBox, Googledocs, or any free blogging platform.

HubPages is a commercial site. They want to make money. They want the writers to make money.

I am not going to read the article, but if all you are looking for is to have it online for students to read you can post it on blogger. No assesment process there.

Wow that's a bit harsh you asking me to basically switch platforms, but sure will keep that in mind.

No, it's not harsh, it's helpful.  As you have been told, you have written a blog post.  HubPages is not a blogging platform.  HubPages publishes magazine style articles that help solve readers' problems such as how-to, recipes, travel, etc.

Spend some time reviewing the articles in the Learning Center (Help button, upper right).  They will tell you how to write and format an article for this platform.

You asked for feedback. I provided it for you. If you think you need to stay on this site because you are interested in the income you have a lot of other changes you need to make.

I don't understand what your purpose is here. If it isn't featured nobody will see it. If it's just to store your writing, might I suggest a thumb drive.
