    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. I have tried to publish it couple of times but it’s been rated spammy. I don’t know how to not repeat words explaining Financial jargon. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Here are my thoughts:

Your title does  not reflect the content. The topic is business accounting, therefore your title should reflect that. And... don't women run businesses?

The intro is confusing. Is the article for the benefit of business people or not? You say "Finance and accounting aren't just for nerds and businesses." So who are they for? Also drop the 'nerds'. Not professional to refer to people in that way.

The section on Debit Credit is missing. You promise to cover it in the intro, but you don't mention it, apart from saying you will cover it in a later article.

    Watch out for unnecessary capitalisation.

You don't mention any accounting systems, such as Quick Books, etc. Or how to actually keep records, or whether or not to use the services of a bookkeeper, or use Excel, or an actual accountant to produce the accounts and file tax returns, etc. This is all basic information that should be covered.

Tell your readers how to begin to keep their accounts. What do they need? Where do they begin. What do they need to keep (receipts, etc.)? How do they record each one. Make it useful in practical terms.

The little table is problematical. In what business is a salary an income? Whether it's paid to the proprietor or to staff, it's always an expense. The table is for a household income/expenditure not for a business and really shouldn't be included because it's confusing.

There is a lot of work to do to improve this, but I'm sure you can get it featured in due course.

Thank you so much for helping me figure out the problems. I wanted to put Business-Man as a superhero mastering in accounts. I will update and improvise based on your suggestions.
