What type of satisfaction authors derive from creative writing?

    Authors create their writings on various topics and present their contents in lucid forms. Many of them do it for earning money or making a livelihood. What other types of satisfactions are there which authors generally derive from their creative work? Fellow Hubbers may like to give their views on this.

      Well for me the satisfaction I get is from fellow hubbers or guests that comment.e getting their feedback makes me feel like I am a good writer and it encourages me to  write more this way I improve more and more.

    A couple days ago I dug up an old humor piece I wrote 8 years ago and published on a different site and remembered how much I enjoyed writing it. I don't write like that anymore. If you ever expect to earn money from writing, you just can't. Time is money and I can't waste time doing anything that doesn't earn money. I'm not independently wealthy. Unfortunate but true.
