I spent ages on editing a hub today and not one of the edits was saved. Very strange and disappointing. Wonder why that was?
Wow, Sally, that sounds terrible. It sounds as if we have to create entirely new articles from the old material, rather than simply edit the templates. Maybe the HubPages Tech Team simply hasn't finished all the changes necessary for the transition.
I'll be careful should I decide to work on an old article.
I just made a couple small changes on an older article. They stayed. The article is neither on Discover HP nor any niche site.
It is a possibility though it does surprise me as I saved each module, guess the final draft was not saved. Tomorrow is always another day:) One can only look on the bright side of it:)
You do not really need to update the entire hub, saving changes to modules already updates the content. There, therefore was/is a problem. Good luck editing and getting your hubs moved to the niche sites.
Thank you. No, I edited each capsule and none of them were saved. I have since edited another article at the request of staff and that was saved. Might have been a glitch with my internet. Have a great week-end lobobrandon.
Cool, glad it works again. Thanks and you have a great weekend too.

It would be useful if there was an option to save a published article after edits have been made, but not completed so that edits could be completed later and the tab closed. Then an "update online version" button would update the live version after completion of edits. Maybe edits...

I have an article that an editor has made substantial changes too. Including adding a bio that they wrote themselves. I have not seen an edit this bad in quite some time on one of my articles, and I do not want to go through the whole article and rewrite half of it. I've already spent countless...

In case you haven't noticed, there's a massive edit of Owlcation articles going on. For the most part, I can only quibble about changes made, although a few irritating issues have cropped up. I suggest checking the editing because some errors are finding their way into articles. One or two of my...

So, yesterday, I got an email saying one of my articles had been edited: a recipe that's been posted since 2017. I'm not sure it really needed editing, since most of what was done was superficial. I checked it over, hated about half of the changes, and edited the article to correct some of the...

Happy Thursday, everyone! In August we pre-announced a new tool that fixes common spelling and grammatical errors across the site. Today, Editbot, the first iteration of the tool, is live on a small percentage of Hubs and their comments. It will be gradually rolled out to all Hubs over the next...

I have been getting a lot of emails lately saying: "Congratulations! We've Reviewed Your Article on LetterPile and It Looks Great!"This is fine, but why are staff reviewing articles that have only been moved to the niche site two or three days ago? This seems a little premature and a...
