You can impress all readers some of the time and some readers all of the time, but not all readers all of the time. Any subject will impress some readers some of the time. You can write useful practical articles or entertaining ones which don't have any practical use or maybe educational ones that enlighten the reader on a specific subject. Personally I stick to content that I'm familiar with and study up on details that I've forgotten so that I can include them in a guide.

What subjects interest you? What articles do you read? What headlines catch your attention?

Write about what you are most passionate about.

Hi Archana Das, welcome to HubPages.

The most effective way to determine what subjects to write that impress your readers is to start with putting your best effort into writing whatever you feel comfortable with doing. Publish articles when you complete your research and proofread your work. After a while, and with a lot of published content, you will begin to notice what topics attract readers.

If you find a niche that you are proficient with and that readers are searching for, then you'll have your answer.

That takes time, and there are no shortcuts. It took me well over a year to notice a trend among the subjects I wrote about. And what works for one author might not be the same for another.

Keep at it, and you’ll do fine.

You’re welcome. That’s the way to begin, and eventually you’ll be writing subjects that captivate your reader's interests.
