You can't republish an article here if it is already visible on the internet. You can unpublish the article, have it deindexed from search engines and then publish it here.
If you are thinking of taking someone else's work and republishing it *anywhere* forget about it. That would be stealing.
Am not talking about someone's article. Am talking about my article which I published on my Facebook page.
Am a Christian stealing someone's article is against my faith.
That's good to hear. You didn't make it clear in your question that you were talking about your own work.
Lately we've had a bunch of newcomers plagiarising and publishing because they saw it on a YouTube video. People don't always realise that it is not permitted.
Yes, Chika. But it'll be brand as a "duplicate content." Nevertheless, you've got to delete the original initial publication else where and re-publish it here. That's my experience here at hubpages, and it seems to apply on other secure websites.
A person from one religion is no more or less likely to steal than someone from another. Faith does not enter into this.
When someone has Jesus Christ there is a nature that remains with that person that makes him or her not to do some certain things that others will do and think it does not matter.
That nature is only found in Christ.
Some people simply don't understand that they cannot plagiarise. It is nothing to do with religion. They think if they see it on the internet it belongs to everyone.
They mislead themselves by thinking the plagiarized material is not copyright. They fail to read well between the lines.
I agree. Thank you. But a self righteous person can even maintain such an atitude of mind not to steal notwithstanding the religion. I was in such a state at age 12-years, until I give all up to Jesus Christ at 20.
GwennyOh, my faith or religion says you shall not steal but work with the hands to eat the sweat bread. Hence, I disagree. Thanks.
Logically, they should be no problem if it is your own creation but Hub pages have a problem, so if you will have to abide by it.
To solve the problem, put a single or double quotation mark on the work previously created, or credit it to yourself if you're copyingt a page from the work.

Thanks Tess. I am also at a loss to understand it even though I've tried to follow the instructions. I've posted a few things that I think are links on Pinterest but I'm not sue anybody sees them. I shall await with eager anticipation the input of social media gurus.

I'm in the process of building a website for my freelance business. I'd like to post a link to "How I Became Bravewarrior" because Bravewarrior is in my business name. In doing a Google search, I haven't found a definitive answer. If I do so, do I need to delete the article from HP...
