I sometimes think that HP should provide better support and tips for editing articles for new comers. I've been here for a few weeks now and to be honest it was a bit difficult to navigate my way to getting my articles featured. I believe it will be a welcomed change if we get to see a check list sort of thing which makes it easier to write proper articles. I guess this will not only increase the productivity of the writers and help them produce more and more articles but also would make things easier for the team at HP who approve the articles as most of the criteria would be checked early on.

When you're posting an article, pay attention to the upper right hand corner of the page. HP offers tips for improving your article based on the current content while you're in edit/write mode.

        Yes agreed with Shauna
YourRandomBrother look at the style tips HP provides you on the right corner when writing your article.
It suggests on pictures, titles and on fonts as well.
I am here for the last Six weeks and by the Grace of God, I have all 50 articles featured.
None of them failed to get featured

It can be frustration. The best offense is to know what is expected and some help with that is at the following link at the Learning Center. I would become familiar those articles.
      https://hubpageshelp.com/standards/

      I hope that helps.

HubPages has created a step by step guide for writing on their site.  It's called the Learning Center and you can find it by clicking on the Help button in the upper right corner of your screen.

You can study the resources in the Learning Center and make your own checksheet. This is common practice for writers.

And... yet another benefit of spending time at the Learning Center is that those articles are written to the standard all HP writers should aim for. And... not only that, they are examples of ideal formatting.

So get your writing and formatting up to those levels and all your articles will not only be featured, but moved to the network sites.

Sometimes all you need is right there in front of you smile

      Agreed Bev G
@YourRandomBrother, Bev G supported me when I wrote my first article here, it was a story, and she gave me some advice to work on and the article got featured.
      Thanks to Bev G

I would have had say the same thing with all the other writers above.                                     Buttomline: spend much time at the learning center and you're good to go! Much thanks.

    1. Learning Center.
    2. Study the articles on the front pages of niche sites. These are what HP wants. Don't plagiarize them, but do learn from the styles, construction, and approaches of others who have met the grade. I've been here ten years, but I still learn how to improve from the work of others.
