    Hi Everyone,

Has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in revenue this month? Does anyone know what's happening to cause this?

Same for me. So far, it seems to be significantly lower cpm.

I think it depends on which topics you write about.  I write about gardening and it's gardening season, so May was my best month so far this year.  And since I spent the winter writing more articles on gardening, my income this year is up from last year and May 2021 was my best month ever.

Actually I've seen an increase. I notice this happening, when others see a drop I'll see an increase and vice versa. As OldRoses has said it depends on subject matter.

I guess I got to better weather-proof my portfolio. Hmm...

I'm on a steady upward trend this year.

I've had a "relative" drop following the joy of late April, which was great for earnings, but I've not experienced anything dramatic. CPM for this account is up from last year at this time.

Everything is still topsy-turvy from the pandemic, so I don't really know what to think regarding seasonal expectations, except that the run up to Christmas will be the peak period. Summer is usually bad for views and Amazon sales, so I have modest expectations for June and July. But who knows.

We've got the (hopefully) tail end of a pandemic, just had major changes to the HP site, and major Google algo changes are expected starting in June... Hold onto your seats, folks! smile

April was my best month in quite some time.

May thus far ... not so much.

No point stressing about it. Earnings go up, earnings go down. It's the nature of the beast.

All I can do is keep on truckin'. (shrug)

No, things are steady for me. Something I've learned after 10+ years here is that there's an up and down for everyone. Just keep creating - it all evens out in the long run.

      That is exactly right.
