    Hello, fellow hubbers,

I have a doubt. Anyone, please help me in this matter. Recently I have submitted my article " Rotis for road trips" to the HubPages network site, delishably. They rejected siting "site mismatch". How can it be a site mismatch because the article is about food but related to road trips? It can not be related to wander wisdom which is a travelling hub pages network. I didn't understand the reason behind it.

Anyone, please clarify on this issue. Thanking you.

Hi Mallika. Thanks for being an active member of our community. In your article, you include ingredients for most—but not all—of the rotis you mention, and you do not include cooking instructions for any of them. In order for this article to be a fit for Delishably, it would need to have a stronger focus on recipes. Similarly, in order for it to be a fit on WanderWisdom, it would need to have a stronger focus on the road-trip aspect. As it is, this article doesn't fit on any of our network sites. We hope that explanation helps as you continue to write!

Thank you for your feedback. I now understand the strategy. Your feedback is a guideline and helpful.

I think the problem is that the first photo and the first paragraph are about taking a road trip and not about food. I think you need to make it obvious right from the beginning that you are focusing on food in the article and that you have included recipes.

This may have nothing to do with the article not being switched to Delishably, but I was disappointed that you didn't include instructions for cooking the dough. For someone unfamiliar with preparing Indian food, that could be a drawback because they can't make the rotis that you describe.

Thank you, AliciaC for posting. I understand the feedback that you have give in the first para. I agree that there may be a valid point to it. I will take care further.

Regarding the recipes for the dough of the rotis, this article is not about the full recipes of the rotis but to introduce some of the Indian bread(rotis) for travelling like road trips. There are individual recipes for all rotis that I have mentioned in the article and the making of dough and roti differs from dish to dish and if each and every detail is included, it becomes a very lengthy article. I have provided the names and one can find the individual recipes of the rotis on the internet. I thought so.

Thank you for your feedback. Have a good day!

I agree with AliciaC about you needing to add the full recipe on how to make rotis. I have never made a roti, and I would not read the article in full as it stands at the moment. I would click away to find the recipe elsewhere on the internet. You should aim to get your readers to stay as long as possible on your article, not give them a reason to leave it.

As far as your comment about making the article too lengthy, why not split it into several; maybe one roti article for each region of India?

How did you submit it there? Directly by registering in that site or through hubpages site?

It is not any network error but the editorial staff rejected the article for the networking site "Delishably" sighting site mismatch. I can not again submit the same article to another networking site for another couple of days because of the rules.
