      Good morning theirishobserver. 10:04am here in New Jersey - been up since 5:00am... looking forward to 18 inches of snow tomorrow on top of the 18 inches or so we had on the weekend!
      
      Anyone wanna help me build an igloo??

   11.22 in Ireland, am going in to work at two, been sat here since 9 better get something done, before i go to work,  Came on here for five mins, and am still here.  Ah well i am freezing, next time i will put heating on before i get engrossed in communicating with fellow hubbers...... Brenda x

                our winters start in nov and the final snowstorm is typicaly late march, early april. The thing is, its always like this. Sure, I get sick of it, but its expeceted, ya know? not like alot of other places that arent used to it.

                   I'd be crazy already with cabin fever...if I was living there. Our winter doesn't hit full force till Mid-to-late December...? Hard to say...this year...though December fourth....big freeze!
                   At least when it is officially Spring in March...we are 90 to 100% done with Winter! Thank God...!

       Spring - the Chinese new Year is Lunar calendar so seems to follow the climate better, so if we are lucky we start to rapidly change to the warmer after 14th.

    I'm meant to be in the US, but US immigration like to **** you around, my final interview should be on the 23rd, after which I am going to make my last use of the NHS for a minor operation then head over to Austin!

    You know how it is when you go to be the subject of a psychology experiment, and nobody else shows up, and you think maybe that's part of the experiment?  That's the kind of morning it's been.  I woke up, went outside, and then slipped on the other side of the ice.

    Buenas dias! It's just after half one here in Spain and its half-sunny today, and there are gardeners working in the house next door. They are making quite a racket with some machinery, and look like they are spraying the boundary hedges with an insecticide possibly? Good - less beasties for the summer
