I migth be sounding a bit stupid asking this question, but i think they may be keywords? What is the job of tags? Are they keywords that when someone types in those words, depending on your page ranking, your article will come up?
This is a search the forums type of question..it has been asked and answered countless times AND currently another thread is open on the main feed with the exact same question and many,many responses
