Views are up in the last few days since the recent Google algorithm updates.

Yes. It appears so, which is unusual for a holiday weekend in the states.

Yes. From my data, it hit a low point when the ads were messed up, and things rebounded quite a bit from the holiday weekend... this has surprised me. The end of May is showing the best numbers for the month... which comes after a pretty long period of stagnation. I'm curious to see how the next couple of weeks will go.

Maybe Google evaluated our pages when the ads were missing!!!

My bounce rates are much better than just a few days ago.

There's certainly been an upping in earnings after a particularly dreadful period. It's ironic really, as this time of year is typically the start of the summer downturn.

Lets hope we're at the start of a sustained recovery. We've suffered enough!

Yes, noted. Even after my viral traffic began decreasing on the Delishably article, views on others were going back up. Cool.

For me, still only 65% of last year's values, but at least it's gone up, so fingers crossed.

Yes, the bar was set low, so the improvement is welcome but relative.

My April earnings were worse than March, and my May worse than April, which was dismal and against the typical seasonal trend.

In that environment, it's just a relief that there's any improvement.

There's also a chance that things will gradually build over time. Dramatic changes like used to happen in the past are rarer nowadays, Google generally fixes it so that changes unfurl over a longer period.

      We can only hope.

The Google update still has a few days to go, but any gains we got seem modest to me. We recovered a little of what we've lost over the past year. I hope things get better.

Traffic has dropped off again today, back down to last Friday's levels.

Yep, it's crappy. I have still been producing new material but I don't know how much longer I will continue to do so. We've had a full year now of low earnings. Amazon earnings are particularly abysmal.

I only wrote about five new guides this year., none of which ranked well and only get less than 10 views per day. Until the "Page Experience" improves and keeps Google happy, there's not much point.

May was the best month I have *ever* had in my 11 years on HP, due almost entirely to the Google Gods smiling down upon one of my articles for the first time in a very long while and featuring it in their mobile search results for a few days.

As soon as June started, though... *PFFFFT* straight into a wall.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

I think this year is like spinning a big wheel of fortune. You might get lucky and have something go viral. You also might have super low views that want to play a game of limbo. Your stuff might also get plagiarized by someone in a giant pink bunny suit, and this seemingly bothersome villain pretends to offer their own lifestyle magazine.

I like the viral, it's a fun ride.
