Despite formatting, grammar and related content, some of my articles are not getting featured. Fear and Phobia related ones are which I'm concerned about. Please help.
Your article, "Understanding Fears Within - Glossophobia" is on Discover, so it is featured. Your unfeatured article wills sit in the HubPages.com abyss.
It reflects as 'not featured' on statistics page.
Huh, that's odd. The open circle indicates "not featured due to quality". I just double-checked my articles that are still sitting in HubPages.com and all of them are featured, so I'm confused. It doesn't matter tho, because nothing left in the original domain has income-earning capabilities.
Exactly, that's what it says. Though would you please clarify the last sentence?
Articles that remain on HubPages.com do not have ads, therefore are not eligible for earnings. In order to earn revenue, our work must be on Discover or the niche sites.
Oh! That is probably why I wasn't able to gain revenue despite working hard on reaching more readers organically alongside writing articles. All that seems to be in vain now.
Thanks for sharing. Your insights are helpful. I'll be able to work accordingly now.
Finally! Got more than a couple of articles featured after following the corrections and insights suggested by you all. Thank you very much everyone!
Hi Nisarg, i just read your article on “Glossiphobia.” I found it interesting and helpful. It won’t be placed on a niche site however unless you remove the two Amazon capsules. Even though they are related to the subject you have not discussed them in anyway to prove you have actually used/watched them. Of course that is up to you, if you don’t mind your article staying on Discover. It may be part of the reason it is marked as not featured, however.
Fantastic! I'll do that right away, Thank you for reviewing and providing insights..
Please go on improving and updating your articles and slowly they will get featured and the good ones would be shifted to niche sites. There are many writers here who have got more than 100 articles as featured but only a few have been shifted to the niche sites. Quality and contents are the crucial factors. Earning will start only after that and till that time we will find a $0.00 or $0.01 per day.
Do not get discouraged. Keep up your good work.
That will be my course of action until my articles are featured. Thank you for the encouragement.
Be success as you courageosly embarked on this tough road work.

Hi, my respected fellows. I am a new writer on HP and have written two featured articles, but my articles are not moving toward nichsite. I think writing feature articles is not a big deal, but meeting the requirements of the niche site is a difficult task. I think I will write one article in a...

So I've been on Medium for a year and Hubpages for six years (my second time). I've come to the conclusion that they can benefit each other.I have twice now earned quite a bit more on hubpages as a result of an article on Medium. A few days ago, I posted a link to one one of my hubpage articles,...

This last year I improved my hubs and had 112 featured of 130 articles: Now suddenly they bust me down to only 30 featured hubs. I feel this contributes to a websites decline. I made a comment on a survey that I don't get any payout for this site and gave my opinion, and now...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

So now hubpage pro goes and ruins my article. They remove the first picture which is what draws the traffic to my article. This is how it works. I know this because I used to get 1.5 million views on posts in the early days of G+ And I did that often enough (2 or 3 times a week over a two year...

I received an email from HubPages about a recently published Hub, suggesting some changes that might mean it could be moved to Healdove. One of the suggestions was as follows:"Can you add some sources to support your information? You can create a "sources" section at the end of your...
