    John takes us down nostalgia lane through this article. Why nostalgia? Because a lot of us miss the community feel of the site after the decision to remove comments. And I haven't given up on the site, but it does not motivate me enough to post anything new. I try to keep in touch by sharing good hubs through the forums.

    John, great read as you pay homage to the importance of community, particularly as it relates to online writers. You've given a relatable summary of the writer's experience on HubPages. I started in 2012 and plan to hang in until they shut it down. I appreciate your optimism and sense of community. See you around. smile
