It was published in 2013, has been on YouMeMindBody since the site was created (or whatever it was called previously) and has been edited 3 times in the last 5 years. Now "unfortunately, the article does not quite meet our current quality bar". Is this the start of a new purge I wonder. They suggest:
"Can you please find a new, full-page width top photo for this article and add high-quality sources? I like to find sources on Google Scholar. Another good resource is Healthline.com. Thanks!"
The photo issue seems to have been a Hubpages bug. For some reason it was displaying really small on screen. When I downloaded and reuploaded it, it looked ok. The resolution is 1200 pixels horizontally.
Please send the article link to team@hubpages.com and we will take a look.
They did the same to my article called "Record-Keeping Tips for Tax Season". It had been on ToughNickel since that site went live. The article was originally written in 2015. They mentioned something about "evergreen". The thing is, my article talks about keeping your records organized throughout the year so you're not hit with a daunting task come tax time.
I felt the move back to Discover was very unfair and unfounded.
I write health articles, not on HP, and I don't find Healthline.com a great source. Google Scholar has excellent sources, but you have to hunt for them.
I feel like they've been doing this a lot. Several of my articles were moved back to hubpages although none of my emails gave me anything to fix other than supposedly poor images. I've kinda given up here. I feel like I should move everything to my own blog, but I've been here for 11 yrs, all my links are nicely aged with google.

Is there a common standard or set guidelines that all the editors use to select articles? Or do all the different network sites/editors have their own guidelines for their own sites similar to when we submit our own articles? Is there a way to find all the different guidelines, without trying to...

An article of mine was recently edited by a Hubpages editor, and moved to a Hubpages Network site. While I do quite approve of the edits of the article, and the opportunity to reach a specific audience---is this normal? Will the views go back up since it's now on a Network site? I am new to...

I read on here that articles that aren't moved to the niche sites don't get as much live as those on the niche sites.Would it be wise to continue writing here knowing there's the possibility of that happening, although I try to make my articles optimized in the hopes it will pull in some traffic...
