Earnings on Hubpages?

    Does anyone know how to improve earnings on hubpages? I am thinking write more! But does anyone else have tricks or ideas up they're sleeve?

    Deborah, we're all trying to figure this one out. The golden secret is to start online writing 20 years ago. I know that's not very helpful unless you've solved the puzzle of time travel. If you have you won't need to be writing on HP to earn a crust.

    It comes down to the hard slog of writing lots of high-quality articles. As far as I can tell there's no other way.

    I think all the core info can be found at the HP learning center. Understand, writing online isn't just about creating well-written and informative articles, it's also about making your work search engine friendly so that people will find you in Google.

    The HP learning center gives valuable advice on both, though many people seem to ignore the search engine stuff.

    That said, there are some technical matters that are out of the control of the writers here. We rely on HP to figure stuff out and for Google to be kind to us.

    My earnings have not been this poor since April 2016.

    Shameful that we get no communications regarding earnings, how they are calculated or if HP intends to do anything to help the site as a whole and not just their pieces of the pie.
