How does you want us to rate it? What does the figures 1 to 10 7stand for in the rating process?

1, highest or mediocre? You seem to bring a question you didn't thoroughly understand to the public.

The only ratings that matter in my opinion are:

    1. Whether HP deems it good enough to get into the niches.
    2. The rank that Google gives the article in the search engine results.

Besides, 1 or 10, can either be a highest rating. 1 can also be the lowest. Think.                                      So, you've got to specify the ratings like...1= highest; 2 to 3= very good; 4 to 6=average; 7 to 10= lowest... The specificity will guird your readers well in rating your write-up. Thanks.

Miebekagh, it's commonly understood that 1 is bad and 10 is good. That's where the phrase "a perfect 10" comes from, not to mention the movie "10" (the movie iteslf was more like a 6, in imho).

True. But #1 can also be the top of a ranking, like with songs or albums in a pop chart.

I do think that you're right that this case, though. It's a "give me a number out of ten" situation. The ranking one to ten is more typically a comparison.

All agreed 1 or 10 can be highest. All also agreed that these numbers can also be low! Quo bono?

I'm pretty sure that he's asking for marks out of ten.

It's very hard to give marks out of ten. The fact is that there are a multitude of things that have to be got right for success on here. You mess up on one thing and the article will fail, even if it's good in every other way.

Let's say the article contained 1,000 words, and is divided into 5 paragraphs. This means each paragraphe will take 2 marks.                                   That just said and considering spelling mistakes, punctuations, sentence structure, and grammar errors in each paragraphy as these usually happen, the errosion of mark is expected. So at the end of the day, our friend goes home sad. Thanks for your insights.
