Hi, Any advice for newbie.  I love writing and just posted many articles.  How do people find your articles?  If you get paid at some point, what is the process?
    thanks

      Hello.

I was interested in your homeschooling experience. I home-educated my two youngest for 15 years. However, 'unschooling' is not what you describe in your article. Unschooling doesn't use curricula or 'school-at-home'; it is fully child-led. That's what we did.

If you are keen on providing useful information in your articles, then you need to make sure that it is accurate.

Reading your article, it seems wholly geared to your state and its regulations. Remember that HubPages has a global readership. So maybe your piece would be better titled 'Home Schooling in ***State***'?

You should avoid using exclamation marks in an informational article. Occasionally they are appropriate but it's rare. And multiple exclamations should never be used.

As far as getting paid is concerned, it's a long haul. It's possible to earn a reasonable amount, but you have to be prepared to work for it.

The Learning Center is a very useful resource.

      Good luck.

Hello Dee, welcome to HubPages. As Bravewarrier advised, you need to check out the Learning Center (under Help)  thoroughly to get all the dos and don’ts.
I checked one of your articles. You need to break up the text into a number of capsules and insert some legal use and correctly attributed photos (at least three is recommended.)

    Welcome to HP!

I agree with what bravewarrior and Jodah said above. The Learning Center is definitely worth studying.

While it's up to you what subject matter you choose, how-to guides and practical advice often do best on this site.

Hi, Dee. Your articles need to be moved from HubPages to Discover or better still to a niche site. Then advertisements will appear on them and you will be able to earn money.

As the previous commenters have said, it would be a good idea to explore the Help section and the Learning Center of this site. They describe what HubPages is looking for in an article. If your articles haven't been switched to another site in the network after doing this, you could edit them and submit one every two weeks to a niche site.

Hi. Keep up the good work and sustain it for a few years and everything would fall in place. I think patience is the only key in today's writing arena in internet.
