I just watched a presentation by Open AI. Chat GPT-4 is available now but is limited to subscribers and even they don't get full access just yet.

The demo was impressive, particularly the bit where the presenter sketched out a basic and quite scruffy design for a website, scanned it in and Chatty built the basic website structure in seconds.

There was a load of coding stuff that went right over my head.

Chatty will now be able to access information up to and including 2022.

As I understand it, coders will likely be some of the biggest losers with AI. That said, it helps if you understand some coding to make the right Chat demands.

There will be fewer coders needed, though, when Chat can produce so much at speed.

How ironic isn't that? Everyone told me coding would be an industry filled with job opportunities. But as you say, coders are likely to be losers sooner or later because of the rapid development of AI.

I think I heard on the BBCWS last night that it'll also be able to include images.

      Yes, that was mentioned.

Also, Bing has implemented GPT-4 already. I haven't looked at that yet.

It's supposed to have some degree of image interpretation. If you ask it a question such as "why is this picture funny?" it will supposedly tell you.

Also, it's allegedly less inaccurate than the current Chat version, which tends to make up a lot of facts.

Here's the Daily Mail covering it in their tabloid style:
