To get rid of ads from between lines of text in math articles, I'm replacing paragraphs with new lines. I might do the same with text capsules in non-mathematical articles. I wonder would there be any issues with Google if paragraphs disappear from text?
Eugene, While it'a true that ads are only placed between paragraph breaks (<p>) and not between new lines (<br>), we don't know for sure how Google responds to content that's not separated semantically.
Using "new line" instead of paragraph breaks might make the semantic intention unclear, according to the following article that may shed some light on the subject:

That potential lack of clarity is unlikely to have worse effects that the current "wall of ads" situation.
That’s a good point, Penny. But I was referring to the uncertainty of how Google responds to it. Humans see it the same way no matter if you use two line breaks (soft-returns) or a paragraph break. So there is no lack of clarity for a human reader. The space is roughly the same, and to a human reader the intended paragraphs are still obvious.
I actually started this years ago, so at this stage I can't remember where I've made the changes.

I seem to have come to HP just before all the changes. I have put in almost F/T hours on the days I write my hubs. I've read whole books, not only the ones I review, but for material for my hubs. I think what I write is well written and informative. I kept hoping as I got more readers, the money...

I want to suggest the option to remove the space between lines when typing into a Hub, not necessarily as a permanent rule but just as an option to remove it. I'm sure the space comes in handy for writing paragraphs but when writing poetry I find my layout looking rather messy. And sometimes I...

Hi everyone, I have recently begun working on checking and removing copied content from my hubs on the web. I am doing a rather in depth analysis, so thought I'd share what I am doing with you, so you can try it too, if you want to.I have a few steps to find the stolen content:1. Use Copyscape. Pay...

Hi there,I was preparing a hub for publishing. After I finished my article, it has slightly more than 2000 words in total. So my question is, whether this article has the potential for getting more traffic or not?

Ads get inserted between paragraphs in text modules, which can split them up and make it difficult for a reader to follow a passage of text. However I discovered if you use a soft return, shift enter, instead of a normal hard return, it prevents this from happening. A soft return while creating the...
