Can anyone suggest me how to write better short story for Hubpages?
I see you already have had articles moved to the niche site LetterPile. Congrats! I would continue to use the format you used for these articles.
Thank you, its my pleasure that you read me. But I usually interested in writing short story. Sometime I express my instant feeling trough poem and upload it.
I skimmed through your article "Avoiding physical symptoms for the sake of being busy is not a good idea," and noticed several issues.
The title should be in APA Title Face and there should be no period/full stop at the end.
Your article reads like a personal-experience blog and HubPages is not a blogging platform. It requires us to write magazine-style articles of 1,000 to 1,500 words that provide accurate information readers are looking for with media such as images and videos and in perfect English.
That last point brings me to your skill with English; it's not quite up to the standard required for promotion to network sites. I suggest you run your copy through a free program such as Grammarly to catch most of the errors.
Also, spend time at the Learning Center - follow the link at "Help", top right - there is a wealth of information there that will help you become successful at HugPages.
Thank you for your valuable advice. It means a lot to me.
I took a look at your profile. Congratulations on getting some of your creative writing switched to LetterPile!
I have to comment about one of your other articles. I read your article about depression. Depression can be a very serious state of mind. People who aren’t mental health professionals have to be very cautious when writing about it.
You need to correct the grammar, spelling, and spacing errors in the article. You should also include helpful references for people and ones that support what you say. If you have experience dealing with depressed people or have been depressed yourself, you should mention this in the article. This could be important for readers and for the success of your article.
Thank you Alicia for your valuable advice. It really really means a lot to me as I am a new Hub writer.

I wanted to write a short story for a long while now and I just started working on it. Is HubPages a good place to share it or would it be better to share it elsewhere?

Hi Hubbers,This is the 3rd time I have adjusted, rewritten, deleted etc words, phrases, names from this story and the 3rd time I have received an email saying that its too spammy..whatever that means. Your description of spammy is very vague. So perhaps someone, here, could use exact examples of...

Hi, I am a young adult and juvenile fantasy writer and would like to write short stories to publish on Hubpages. Is this a good fit for Hubpages? I notice many of the articles under poetry, books and writing ask questions or do book reviews.

Do you think it is a good idea to turn in articles less than 500 words?I have read some really short hubs lately that must have gone up really fast. Do you think this is a bad idea? Does it affect the views?
