High Rise in Earnings in my Absence

I have no idea what happened, but earlier this month, there was a sudden and inexplicable high rise in earnings. I was getting $10 to $20 per day for a week or so. However, I have no idea how many views I was getting on those days because I've been absent on Hubpages for weeks. Lastly, I have no idea what specific articles / hubs were doing it.

There was either a sudden spike in traffic on multiple hubs, a VERY high CPM, or something went viral temporarily. I'm upset that I was not on here because I don't think there's a way to see the statistics of those days, specifically the traffic and CPM.

This was a nice boost to my morale as a writer, but it's still a far cry from my glory days in the early 2010s when I had an article go viral and accumulate 5000 views per day and reach the number 1 spot on Google! I'll never forget those days!

Has anyone else experienced this recently? An extreme (or somewhat) boost in views, but it drops drastically after a period of time? Honestly, most of my views through the years have been fairly stable outside of a few exceptions. Views are higher on weekends for me, for example.

Yeah I've been having sporadic boosts in three or four articles for about six weeks now. I'm more optimistic about these boosts now as although they'll crash for two or three days they'll then reverse and go for another decent rise again.

ChatGPT and BARD is giving references to many websites. Whatever traffic that you get enjoy it. A lot of people are seeing the drop in views and the revenue. So enjoy while it lasts!

I've actually been using ChatGPT to help write write a Dark Fantasy. It also helped me find information about medieval times quicker than a Google Search would kinda.

The AI is actually blowing me mind. More advanced than I thought it would be.

Did not know ChatGPT was referencing sites like Hubpages or the niche sites. It must have referenced hubs I wrote 6 years I go.
