    Hello everyone.

My name is Jabez. I've been on HubPages for a week now.
I have been writing and editing this article since I joined this platform and have not met the quality standards every single time.

I tried deleting it and started all over again, trying to follow the criteria given - but to no avail.

please could someone have a look at my article and provide me with some feedback on how to improve?

Your article appears to me as more of a list than a magazine-style one. That could be the issue. Otherwise, I have no idea.

Try to write to the HubPages team (team@hubpages.com) and ask them directly what you need to change for the piece to get featured.

I agree with Jan. Write to the editors and ask them what's up. This is a solid article, very well-written, and I can't tell you why it's being rejected.

It looks good but seems familiar. Did you check to see if there are similar articles on the niche?

Some folks get frustrated and accuse HP Central of not caring about writers or their work. This demonstration of responsiveness from Matt shows the other side of the story.

The problem may be with the screenshots. Images must be appropriately licensed and the source cited.

Otherwise I think it is well-written and informative.

I think you have a lot of good information in your article and I see how you have followed Bev's advice and credited your photo. I noticed under Upwork you used bold print for your subheadings, but didn't do that for any of the other companies in your article. You might want to be consistent in that. Please let us know what happens.

Perhaps only mention Flexjobs once? Which will affect the numbering. You'd have to find another platform, perhaps something like Medium?

Tip for the future... when you create your article, edit the url to remove any reference to numbers, dates, etc. This allows for adding more material later. You can only edit the url right at the beginning of article creation.

Also, change the caption of your photo--you've repeated the title.

Could you add more regular text when you introduce each platform? It does look like bullet point overload. Or could you convert some of those bullets to paragraphs?

      Noted, thank you ma'am.

I will remember this for the future.

Concerning the bullet point - the original post had very few. I was not sure why the article was not Qualifying so I added more bullet points to see if that was the reason.

Actually it's nice that someone actually appreciates advice and responds accordingly.

So many people either argue, justify, or just don't bother responding at all.

Best of luck with your next articles.

Truly appreciate you ma'am. I'll be back if I get stuck again.I believe in learning from those who has gone before me. I also know to not take the effort you put in to reading my article and offering advice for granted. It's hard to get good advice. So, thank you ma'am.

      From my heart
