Can I use colour in the starting of  a new paragraph. I mean I want to use colour to grab attention in the para. So can I use it? Is it allowed?

If you mean colour in the sense of adding a pigment to type, the answer is no. Adding colour to text is not an option in the editing tool on HubPages.

On Hubpages and in the edit tool it is pale blue.  On Pethelpful, and I assume the other niche sitres headings are black.

You could post the text as an image. Then you can change the text or background colour or change the font. However that text may not be indexed by Google. So if you're interested in getting the max amount of traffic, it's not a good idea. Also an image is likely to be followed by an ad before any text that follows.

"Google extracts information about the subject matter of the image from the content of the page, including captions and image titles"

So if you created a text image as a header and named the image file "Whatever the text in the Image is" It would have SEO value. Repeating it in the caption would be strange looking though.

Knowing this means that I should rename all of my images and reupload them, which I am not willing to do.  Sad about me. I will name my images whatever SEO phrase I am trying to rank for, in the future.
