Earning on hubpages

    What would be your advice to new hubbers, in order to start earning quicker?

    There are no shortcuts. The only way to earn here is to write lots - 100 is a good target to aim for - of engaging articles in perfect English. It takes a lot of time, effort, and skill, and, even then, the financial rewards are not that great.

    Study the stuff in the HP Learning Center, plus the articles that are published in the niches to understand what works. Most writers don't bother to do that.

    However, as Rupert says, even if you produce many published articles and are relatively "successful," the earnings are low nowadays.

    I don't know if I'm qualified to give advice on this topic as Im yet to reach my first ever payment (although I'm pretty close).

    However, I would say focus on SEO- right a lot of optimized articles on keywords with high search volumes and low keyword difficulty.

    This is the strategy I will be adopting henceforth.

    There's a cultural trend among the Wakirikenes or the Okrika people of the Niger Delta fringes of the Easthern Atlantic seaboard, of Nigeria.                                       Boys or youths will take to fishing with the right gear, because they see the old salts bring in a very good catch.                                 However, the right  seasons (studing hubpages school of writing) were not being considered by them, and so less catch. (My wife just report to me a fellow who went to fish today but catch nothing for 6 good hours). Oddly, it's the wrong timing.                                       Seriously, the seasons, and critical weather or climate changes factored in (like  Hubpages/TAG alliances).                                       So advicing novices these days is hard.
