I recently realized that if you wanted to you could post free articles on hubpages, I was wondering does anybody do this? does it work? can you make money from it?

No articles are free my friend, I do however take a successful article and re-write it and see how I could make it far superior with extra images and other links and goodies and research, but I guess that may be to much work for some!

Not sure exactly what you are asking.
Yes, it does not cost you to post articles.
Hundreds of people do it. Yes, many of them make a little money; some of them make more.

You are not directly paid for posting your originally written  articles but they can earn money from the advertising that is posted with them.

You cannot copy a 'free' article from some other source and post it here-- you have to write your own article.

Read everything in the "help" button at the top right of the page.

I just noticed that you already have 47 hubs-- you must already know this. No?

We weren't necessarily thinking that, but -- do you mean that some of them are?

No, you will not earn money with it because there will be no ads. Hub pages will mark your article as duplicate.

The best articles to publish come at a cost. The price you have to pay is your time and talent.
