Told my hub was written by AI (it wasn't)

I am trying to start posting here but I have been told my articles contain AI so I can't post anything. All my work is original! I don't want my work to be discredited because some other bot says my work was made by a bot. Has anyone else had this issue before? I don't know how to prove I didn't use AI.

    Thanks!

Hi Cassidy, it has happened to others. Contact team@hubpages.com

The same thing happened to me. I posted on the forum about it. They use a program to check for AI, but it's not very accurate.

Since the weekend, I've been adding and deleting content from all 97 of my American nostalgia articles on HobbyLark. I certainly hope that I don't get flagged for AI.

I am also noticing that it is taking up to 15 hours for the changes to appear on HobbyLark.

Gregory, that's odd. My changes show up right away on other Network sites.

Kenna, I made some changes around 1:00 - 2:00 AM EDT today on several articles and the changes were not showing up on HobbyLark until this evening.

Gregory, I've read some of your articles and they're great. I never once thought that you used AI especially because of all the sources you cite.

Writer Janis, thanks for the reassuring comment. Google seems to favor content that is updated on a fairly consistent basis, so I am hoping that these changes work out over the long-term.

I had it happen on another site. I don't know how they determine AI but my articles were originals.

I edit AI for a client. It's easy to recognize.

I am also able to detect AI, at least for the time being.

Recently, I have noticed that some product reviews on Amazon are being generated by AI, and not by a real person who has purchased a product. Those fake reviews are easy to detect, at least for now.

Has Amazon any tool to detect those artificial review yet?                                    Forgive my curiousity. HubPages has GPTZero.                                         And like I said tn Kenna, you can help other writers here how to detected AI writing with just the natural eyes? Can you? You're welcome.

I can still recognise it by certain phrasing, the artificial transitions, and the proliferation of colons, but it's getting harder.

    AI is not my trademark.

    My mind is.

I'v not write one single article since the beginning of 2024.

I'll keep away from any AI source when referencing.

If possible, I'll listed only books.

AI is doing much damage to the online content world.

      What is an AI source?

Surely you can still reference reputable websites?

HubPages' AI detector is, in fact, an AI tool.

My view, because you can't turn back the clock, is to use AI as one more tool. Like spellchecker or Grammarly (100% AI). It can be used in many ways that don't include content writing.

My post on the forum explained that HP uses GPTZero, and it tagged my article with 76% AI content. I had written it myself without AI. I rewrote the article with a personal spin, and it passed.

The scary thing is that AI is just going to get better and harder to distinguish... and we are just at the beginning of it all... "may we live in interesting times".
