I see my jeans button fixing article has just got a featured snippet on Google. Views have jumped to 40 per day.
Discover. It'd be nice if Google was beginning to take notice of Discover and the increasing amount of new articles moved there, but I guess that's just wishful thinking.
It's possible; I've noticed a slight uptick in views over the last 48 hours.
According to SEMRush, Discover traffic is now on the rise after plateauing for a month. What happens at SEMRush isn't always reflected in my own traffic, though.
It's possible that the latest Google core update is working in our favor for a change. However, I can't say I've seen anything dramatic.
Discover? Wow. Interesting. Perhaps things may start to gain traction. That will be nice.
It’s just so hard to stay positive here these days.
Yeah, traffic could double and it would still be awful because we're now at such a low.
I have also noticed an uptick in earnings and traffic, which is welcome after these past few months.
Hoping it’s not a fluke or only pertains to the Thanksgiving holiday. Perhaps things will pick up for November and December, and then drop back for January.
Though I’d like for this traffic to increase 200% and earnings to triple or quadruple to closer match where it used to be.
It's good to hear that some folk are seeing increases in traffic, but here in the frozen northern Dominion, I am experiencing Newton's Third Law of Motion: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."
By adding content I trigger a decline in views. Curious.
I have another new featured snippet for an Owlcation article. Maybe all of these are just coincidences.
Thanks to you, eugbug, for the ray of hope. This is a positive spark in my day.

I'm posting this with the hope that we can document Discover moves and semi-accurately understand how the changes are impacting traffic. If you have seen a notable improvement to your traffic since your article moved from a niche site to Discover, please mention it here. For the purposes of this...

It was published 12 years ago and has had seven edits by editors over the years. Possibly it has been moved because of low traffic or not enough content. Some reasons suggested were: long walls of text non-evergreen content photos that are too small (<700px...

I noticed one of my articles, though it used to get a lot of organic traffic, now gets more "direct" traffic. Made me curious if organic traffic is necessary to stay featured.

I'm not complaining but my traffic has doubled overnight (still only a 10th of the good old days)And it's not just one article receiving a boost. Every article bar one has views in the last 24 hours. I have been saving articles but that would only account for one view per hub and that was a few...

I've submitted my article and I know it got featured cause there's the hubpages logo beside it. But when I click the title, it isn't on Dicover yet. What is going on?
