This is the response I received via email:

        A link to your article: https://hubpages.com/animals/how-to-lit … cat-owners

        Hi cat nap diaries,

Heads up! Your article wasn’t cleared for publication because it didn’t pass the Quality Assessment Process (QAP). Don’t worry, every new Hubber goes through Boot Camp, and all you need to do is improve your article so that it meets our quality standards. To graduate from Boot Camp, you must publish at least five Featured articles.

Featured articles are thorough and contain high-quality, relevant media. Articles that reflect the following elements are more likely to be Featured on HubPages:

        •  Does not include spammy content (e.g., spammy links, promotional activity, links to your personal blog or website, unrelated product listings, repetitive keyword emphasis, etc.)
        •  Demonstrates correct English grammar usage and spelling
        •  Offers complete and in-depth coverage of their subject area or topic
        •  Has an attractive layout (text is broken up into multiple capsules with high-quality images and media)
        •  Has easy to read text (consistent formatting that avoids excessive bolded, underlined, or italicized text)
        •  Offers “evergreen” content, or content that will stay relevant for months and years to come
        •  Is not artificially generated content

Featured articles appeal to a niche audience, but can impress just about anyone. They are beautiful and read more like magazine articles than personal blog entries. With a few changes, any article can be transformed into a work of art. Take a look at what a makeover can do:

        https://hubpageshelp.com/content/Learni … y-of-a-Hub

Featured articles are also showcased on Topic pages and Related article listings, and are made available to search engines.

Once you pass Boot Camp and have published five Featured articles, all of your future articles that are within our Terms of Service that do not pass the QAP will remain published, but will not be Featured. When you publish your fifth Featured article, you will also receive an Accolade demonstrating your success at publishing high-quality content on HubPages.

For more information on HubPages's Quality Assessment Process, please read this article:

To maximize your chances of success on HubPages, we recommend that you carefully read through the many other helpful articles in our Learning Center: https://hubpageshelp.com

Basically you have to have 5 good articles before any of them get featured. It's confusing, but you should write 4 more articles as good as this one. They'll probably all get the same response. After you have at least 5, go back and change a few things and resubmit them.

Cat nap, why the 404 error is either you deleted the read, or you're wrongly editing it.

Check out the last bullet point in the email you received. Your article was rejected because it was created with AI.

        That's terrible.

        Major no-no!

AI should be used as a tool for ideas at the bare minimum. Write as a human. DO NOT depend on AI to do the job for you!. Take writing classes if you don't have the ability or confidence in yourself to do it on your own.

You can email the customer service email and someone will actually reply. I try not to pester them but if its not clear I ask. But yeah, if its AI, that's obviously why.

My suggestion is that you expand those listed points into proper paragraphs.

You don't have to unpublish in order to edit. In fact, it's better not to. Just make the edits and save.

AI is a robotic tool, not a human being. Though it make your writing work easy, it destroyed you at the end.                                       Matt has said in a thread not this not to come 'near it'.                                  Foolish and stupid chat boot. It can't even tell me what 'iria bo' means.

If you call yourself a writer there is no place, absolutely none, for AI in your world.

Everything, article ideas, article structure, text, must come from your own mind. Even the tiniest smidgen of AI in your writing disqualifies you as writer.

That's just the opinion of a sometimes grumpy old geezer who made his living and supported his family through writing for more than 50 years.

The only AI I ever used was a honking big dictionary to check spelling and a honking big encyclopedia to check facts.

What's the name of the dictionary, and the encyclopedia? And whom are the authors and publishers? Much thanks.
