I recall wen I was younger watchin lil house on that damn Prairie and jeeez that Laura Ingles always made me cry, my Dad always said I was a big girlie boy but twas sad.

These days what dramas make a lil tear drip down yer cheek, for me tis the end of a Cold Case episode, they catch who done it, the sad music kicks in as the murderer is marched out in handcuffs and then ya see that flashback to the victim smilin and their Mom or Boyfriend all happy, yeah Cold Case deff brings out my girlie side !

Soap on a rope....soap shows don't bring a tear to my eyes because I'm a man and we never cry, except when king kong got shot off the empire state building at the end I was in floods of tears....

so in answer to your question no soaps bring tears to my eyes except soap on a rope when someone swings the soap at an angle of 47 degrees, hurts like hell!

I don't watch daytime soaps anymore.  I usually take my box of Puffs to watch Grey's & Private Practice.  I've also been known to tear up watching an amazing lyrical performance on SYTYCD

Seeing myself in a soap satire called "The Daze of the Week" brought tears to my eyes but only because the entire project was so dead on I wished I had written it and not just had a small part in it!
