I really need to write 2 hubs today to get close to being caught up here. Rather than falling further behind.
Can anyone offer some hub topic suggestions please?
Thank You
What you need to do is write a list of things that interests you.
Look around your home, under the bed, in your wardrobe, out in the garage, the shed... what do you do on weekends? What do you look forward to doing or where do you want to go on your holidays.
You knowledge on these things is what's going to make your content unique. Sharing this information in your voice is what's going to make it original.
MyWebs, i have just looked at your hubs and they are all very commercial and tech or data oriented. Take a shot in the dark. What is your favorite book, song, movie, and how has it influenced you. Let us see you? I promise we will like you.
All good ideas of course and I appreciate it.
All I really know much about is tech stuff, like computers, web site design, SEO...
I've thought about writing about Las Vegas since I do live there but I haven't thought of a good unique angle yet.
While it may sound a bit weird for a 43 year old male I like Taylor Swift's music a lot. Maybe I will write about her next. She is definitely a hot commodity online.
On an unrelated note President Obama is about to land here any minute. Many Las Vegas residents are rather upset with him for telling people once again not to come here. Mayor Oscar Goodman has refused to meet the president because he is rather upset with our President for killing tourism a year ago, cost us $1 Billion in lost conventions it is estimated, and then once again making more waves recently. Go away Obama we do not want you here!
Why did he say not to go to Vegas? To stop gambling addictions or something? But surely there are casinos all over the US? I'm not very up to date on US politics, but this made me quite interested.
I think if a government someone in my country said not to visit a certain place he would be chewed out, and definitely the subject of an investigation of some sort...
@Mieka I just wrote a hub about everything Obama has done to hurt Vegas. He is basically equating wasting money to visiting Las Vegas. Twice now in the last year he has bashed Vegas. Then he said he said nothing wrong and so far hasn't apologized. Excuse me? Vegas depends upon tourism.
Sounds like ideas for several hubs, especially if you are after SEO.
Las Vegas: something a tourist would find interesting?
Taylor Swift: what do you like about her music?
Obama: the effect his policies has had on Las Vegas tourism; or the response Las Vegas has to Obama's visit. You will likely get many hits.
I agree, let us see more of your interests than the tech stuff.
Oh you must give us the truth on Obama. I am so sick of reading this ifs and buts plese a clear view unbiased like you're the only one telling the truth.
Write stuff like how to clean your mouse, how to blow out your keyboard with a can of air, why a mouse pad is important or not important, umm.... (I'm just brainstorming for you because I'm bored and I started typing already) umm.... how to build a good password that you can remember and not be predictable... headphone types comparison...
That's all I got.
Good luck.
Thank you everyone.
I think my next one will be about how Obama has Angered Las Vegas, the economic impact of his words upon our city that is already hurting badly. And how his visiting is causing us further economic damage.
It is sad how he tells others not to come here and spend their money, but yet he comes here to have a $30,000 per plate fund raiser. Don't spend your money in Vegas, but I'll come beg from your rich and famous...
Also, you can write more than one hub on a subject. For example, I wrote five hubs on coffee, each with a different angle. Pick a handful of things that interested you today, make a list and develope 10-20 hubs off these few ideas from one day.
Have fun.
Here's an idea: If you already have a Helium or Associated Content account, log in and see which of your articles are earning the most. Then put the titles of the articles into Google. If they are on the first page, with no backlinks from you, you should be able to rank with a hubpage of the same title and URL (but with fresh content obviously).
I did this last year when I was participating in the original hubchallenge, and had surprising results: I not only ranked with the hubpage, but made more money out of it (which goes to show how much those writers' sites rip you off).

Would you rather publish a set of hubs at once or will you publish them one by one?If you have a set of hubs ready to be published, say 5-10 hubs drafted, not yet published. Would you rather publish a set of hubs at once or will you publish them one by one? What do you think is a better strategy to...

I have two hubs up so far. I am not entirely sure what a great ranking would be considering that they are quite new, but they are both above 60. Is this pretty good for newly established hubs? I would appreciate any feedback on my work and what can be done to improve for the future, as well as...

Do you include a copyright notice in your articles? Why or why not?I never do this, but I see that a lot of folks on here do. Just wondering what the opinions are out there.

Oops I meant to type by the end of 2020. LOLI feel like this is a reasonable goal to accomplish. This should be fun.As of right now, I have 26 hubs on TurboFuture and LevelSkip. I also have two black sheep hubs on ToughNickel.I will need to write about 70 new hubs to complete this goal. I will only...

Hey, I am new to hubpages. I just want to get my articles out and build relationships. Whats the best way to do that without having my hub sitting for months with no views. How demoralizing?
