Hello! I know many are concerned about recent developments on HubPages. I'm carefully looking to have conversations with people who may want to brainstorm ideas about what we can do to make things better for ourselves.

I would like to have these discussions in a private manner. I've already responded on a recent thread about this, but I thought I would create a new thread in case people missed it.

I'm looking to correspond through email. I may reach out to some people through the contact button, but I don't want to overuse that option.

If you would like to be part of the email group I'm starting, please reach out to me at AndreaLawrenceWriting@gmail.com. Let me know your username or work so I can verify who you are. I apologize if this is coming off as vague. If you look at the most recent threads here in the forum, I think that will help clarify my vagueness.

I wish everyone well. I'm hoping together we can resolve and/or improve what's currently happening. Also, I'd like to get in touch with some people in case HP becomes obsolete.

You do not need to respond to this thread. You are welcome to send me an email.

It does seem like a more sensible approach to discuss the matter in a private group setting.

I don't think I will be involved, though. I essentially gave up on the site some time ago, and my earnings are so low now that I'm not sure it's worth it, even though TAG's behavior has been terrible.

    Best of luck!

Your disconnect from the site professionally makes you the perfect subject to spearhead a public exposition on the antics of TAG. Just sayin'.

I agree. Posting here is ineffective, Paul. We all know the scene. Public exposition is best done by someone who has left the group. You possess the ability to communicate effectively about the matter.

Discussing your strategy and tactics in the public forum of the company that you're targeting is worse than ineffective, it's counterproductive. Andrea is right to set up a private discussion.

Those who believe that HP can be revived, or hubbers can obtain some sort of legal recompense, should join the email group.

Getting me to write things on your behalf is a nonstarter.

I agee with Paul and Andrea.  I think that is perhaps the best recourse at this time.

I really can't see what a private conversation can do, that a public one can't. Regular writers on HP have been complaining for years now, pointing out things which aren't working, pointing out that income has dropped hugely, as a consequence of HP's policies. Nobody in charge takes the blindest bit of notice. Personally, I've given up on this site. It used to be profitable, now it's just a time drain.
