   Some of you may remember my daughter, Tegan, and her song writing. Well, she's just released her first single, 'There's a Gate in West Virginia'.

         Well, she started writing her own lyrics to Taylor Swift songs when she was 12. We thought it was cute.
         
         As we homeschooled, she had lots of time to teach herself guitar and songwriting. She says that TS taught her lots about phrasing and pacing. She went to college to study music and got to go to Nashville. Finished her course on a high when awarded Student of the Year. Started uni then took a year out to work for a record company.
         
         Covid interrupted everything and she let performing go while she finished uni (with a first) and worked. She completed a teaching qualification last year.
         
         She started up again more seriously and got awarded a grant which has helped towards recording and stuff.
         
         Sorry, you didn't ask for Teg's life history but I'm so proud of my 9/11 baby

   I now make single one-minute videos and earn more from it than I make from an entire month's worth of articles. But it wasn't always this way — when the platform first launched, article revenue was excellent.
   
   I hope everyone else finds an alternative platform to generate extra income or even better, a decent living

   so just wanted to see what or if others had a similar profile with them.  I just googled your name / muckrack and went through 20 pages and nothing came up  so you lucky maybe  I wonder if anyone has a profile with them

      Muck Rack is an established directory used by some journalists and marketers. Their system auto list a couple of your works, i.e., these are backlinks. If you create an account, you can edit what they list. By the way, Muck Rack doesn't take your works. They link to them.
      
      Different people have different opinions on Muck Rack; I tend to think a managed account there is immensely useful.
