My sister signed up here some weeks ago after me, and taking into consideration the rules that you cant have more then 1 Google Adsense account from the same address I agreed to share my account with her.
The problem is HB statistics shows 350 total visits but Google Adsense about 60.
    What is wrong here?

I think that hubpages takes into consideration visits from search engines and your own clicks... This is only what I have gathered.  The people you need to speak to are Darkside, Relache and some other great gurus.

Yes, you are right. We have just checked and those 60 visits were from Google.
So, everything is ok. Thank you very much!

Also have to realize  that not all stat trackers are made equal as some may under or over report statistics and operate diffently. tongue just some thoughts to keep in mind.

two things two keep in mind with this question.

    1. Your adsense id (the thing that is tracked by adsense) is displayed only 60% of the time.

There should always be a discrepancy of around 60% less views in your adsense console

    2. The tracking system at HB is on a ROLLING 24 hour setting - its not a calender date - it wont ever match exactly with nay other stats you use that follow a calender day

The answer to any stats question is USE ANALYTICS ...once you get the hang of it you will realize that the simple reference that Hubs offers is just that..a simple reference

Does slideshow views count in Analytics the same as page views? The reason I ask this is I checked my analytics and it shows me about 9,000 more page views than HB does.

If so...then there is only a little over 1,300 page view difference.

Yes, Analytics will count the slide views.  To them, each slide is an individual page.

Thank you! This helps explain the much higher number in Google Analytics.

Get Google Analytics, also remember that your adsense IS on hubpages only appears 60% of the time!

Not all the views are discernible. Every robot has its own algorithm and time scale. Do not bother about that.
Moreover, Adsense shows result on the basis of channels.
Have you linked all your hubs to your adsense channel?
    Hope this will help.

    Thanks,

No, I haven't. I only paste the publisher ID here at Google affiliate program, that's all. Should I add all the hubpages as new channels?

    I found out the answer:

Why is Advanced Segmentation disabled for certain reports?

Due to the way data is computed or aggregated for certain reports, it isn't possible to provide visit-level segmentation into the data exposed by those reports at this time.
Advanced Segments may also be disabled if you have other segments currently applied. To enable Advanced Segments, use the dropdown menu next to the segment.
Please note that currently, Advanced Segments aren't available for the Absolute Unique Visitors, Keyword Positions, Goal, Funnel and Benchmarking reports.

    Where is this dropdown menu?

This question doesn't quite belong it this forum I think, but I can't find one that fits better....

I have a channel for each of my hubs, my profile pages, and also any site that I've enabled AdSense on for back links (like shetoldme)

My AdSense is showing estimated earnings today that don't come from any of my channels. GA is not showing any ad clicks that I can't track to a channel. Actually I can't see the estimated earnings anywhere with GA. (Still learning though, maybe I'm overlooking something)

I have mystery earnings. Could they be from a referral?
    hmm

thanks Ivorwen, I have been wondering about the slide show views.

Yes your mystery earnings could come from a referral....there are a couple of pages outside the actual hubs, profile and I think our personal category pages that also share impressions with us!

I usually expect that any mystery earnings are from a referral ..do you have a general hubpages.com channel?

No, I do not but I soon will. That is not something that ever crossed my mind! thanks :-)

I thought maybe the click came from another hubber's page because that is the only think I could think up to explain it. This is the first time I've had a click that I couldn't trace. lol
I was very curious because it is worth quite a bit more than what I usually see. So, of course I had to investigate!

As always, thanks a bunch. I appreciate the help.
