My first Hub was written Nov of 07 and it has always been my most popular. I wasn't expecting it, but a check arrived the other day for 107.93. Wahoo! My husband thought it was pretty neat too when i told him it was basically residual income as long as HubPages and Google Adsense are around. He almost ripped it up before I could explain it was real. Whew!
I am spurred on to create more when I can find the time. I only have 36. But i IS happy!!!!!
Glad you convinced your husband in time!
At least in our home I don't have to worry about that. My honey wouldn't even toss a losing scratch lottery ticket without having me double check it.
Anyway, congrats for sure!
congrat on your first check and that's the beauty of residual income
Congratulations! First check from a virtual living is worth celebrating.
Very, very happy for you. You know what they say about patience....
Congratulations!!! Great work!

Congratulations! I still have about $12.00 to go before I get an adsense check , it will be my very first check from Hubpages. I also notice an old hub I wrote on numerology is the one that gets me the most adsense.
That would have been bad, if he would have torn it... Our dog once did that, wasn't very happy (wasn't an adsense check, it was only for like 30 dollars or something)
Fantastic news! The first check received is always the most fun, don't you think? Keep up the good work so that your checks keep roll'in in!

I've been watching my numbers the past few days and tonight I finally made more than one million page views! I've been here just over 5 years and almost lost the whole site in the summer of 2014. It's been a long crawl back, but with the help and advice of other hubbers, the...

On Easter Sunday I finally hit the million views checkpoint. Took a long time to get there, but it was nice reading the email HP sends you on reaching this accolade. This is a good time to thank the staff at HP, no one ever says it enough - they are doing and have always been doing a great job here.
