My picture will not download to my hubs.
Do I have to change picture format they are in jpeg
Here's what I see when I download a picture to the hub from my laptop.
[i]"You can upload a jpeg, gif, or png photo file from your computer. The maximum size allowed for all uploads in a batch is 40 megabytes. Large files may take a while to upload. Please be patient."/[i]
Since you said your picture is in jpeg format, it shouldn't pose any problem. I'm not really a technie so I can't help you on this one.
Uploading jpeg is fine, the issue maybe size. Is it too many pixels? How about your connection, how's that, I find if mines to slow it times out.
I have a similar question here - If I want to put a pic in here can I upload it direct from my computer - or do I have to upload it into a hub first ?
ok - I give in - how do I put a pic in this post ?
no idea..if you can search the forums, I KNOW its been mentioned several times. I just dont remeber....
Thanks anyway - I am just being lazy and hoping someone would just kinda know
this link says that it has to be on the web somewhere - so I guess I have to upload first to a hub then ref it back here. What the hell - that would probably be quicker than searching forums for it. Thanks for pandering to my lazy side though
China Man if it is in jpeg format already and you have that link in order to put it in the forum thread as a response or whatever all you have to do is this

don't use any spacing
yeah but but but - it has to be a url or whatever, the pic must already be online and the pic address goes in the link - the question was can I put a pic in directly from my computer?
i would think so..cant yo just right click on your pic and see the properties? ill try it maybe...
I'm good, Justine. Thank you. I'm sorry to hear you've had a headache!
I'm just writing here, because that other thread shouldn't be hijacked.
The answer is no. The picture you want to use in forum has to be on an online server. Like this
I have to say you are a helpful gang - I may hang out here instead of the warring threads for the sake of my karma
nevermind..sorry..if it doesnt work everyone will see the adress, and its got my name in it...
are talking here or in your hub cause it says in your hub I have pics saved to my computer that I use all the time in my hubs now those same said pics won't go here unless I have the jpeg or gif or whatever url for them to place here in the forum but a pic from your computer should be uploadable in a hub by using the photo capsule.
Click photo capsule in hub, then select browse your computer
Bring up the pic you want from your saved pics
then once you have it there click upload pic
then you can add a caption
and choose the size of the pic and once that is all done hit save and it should be on your hub

Since I really hate to see my own face everytime I post, I have been switching avatars constantly as a kind of entertainment and enjoy finding new fantasy pics to post. But I notice that people often say on the forums that they are annoyed by people not posting their own pics and that they...

OK, I'm not fishing for any compliments here but I changed my profile pic. I really liked the one I had which I think looked more professional but due to the fact that I am going through a midlife crisis. I changed the pic to what I think is a newer, hopefully (haha) younger looking version of me...
