Here's what I see when I download a picture to the hub from my laptop.

[i]"You can upload a jpeg, gif, or png photo file from your computer. The maximum size allowed for all uploads in a batch is 40 megabytes. Large files may take a while to upload. Please be patient."/[i]

Since you said your picture is in jpeg format, it shouldn't pose any problem. I'm not really a technie so I can't help you on this one.

Uploading jpeg is fine, the issue maybe size. Is it too many pixels? How about your connection, how's that, I find if mines to slow it times out.

I have a similar question here - If I want to put a pic in here can I upload it direct from my computer - or do I have to upload it into a hub  first ?

this link says that it has to be on the web somewhere - so I guess I have to upload first to a hub then ref it back here.   What the hell - that would probably be quicker than searching forums for it.  Thanks for pandering to my lazy side though smile

The answer is no. The picture you want to use in forum has to be on an online server. Like this

are talking here or in your hub cause it says in your hub I have pics saved to my computer that I use all the time in my hubs now those same said pics won't go here unless I have the jpeg or gif or whatever url for them to place here in the forum but a pic from your computer should be uploadable in a hub by using the photo capsule.

Click photo capsule in hub, then select browse your computer
Bring up the pic you want from your saved pics
then once you have it there click upload pic
then you can add a caption
and choose the size of the pic and once that is all done hit save and it should be on your hub
